– Last night’s WWE SmackDown ranked #4 among series & specials for the night in Nielsen’s social media TV ratings, behind Atlanta, Queen Sugar and The Haves & Have Nots. SmackDown had 84,000 interactions on Twitter with 18,000 unique authors, down from last week’s 224,000 interactions with 44,000 unique authors. SmackDown also had 95,000 Facebook interactions with 61,000 unique authors last night, down from last week’s 339,000 Facebook interactions with 193,000 unique authors.
– As noted, American Alpha were pulled from the finals of the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title tournament at Backlash due to an “injury” suffered by Chad Gable at the hands of The Usos. The Usos will now face The Hype Bros. to see who faces Heath Slater and Rhyno for the titles. Gable sent this message to The Usos today:
