– Becky Lynch became the first-ever WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion by winning a Six-Pack Challenge at tonight’s Backlash pay-per-view in Richmond, Virginia. Other match participants were Nikki Bella, Natalya, Carmella, Alexa Bliss and Naomi.
Eliminations in the match went like this:
1. Naomi eliminated Alexa Bliss
2. Natalya eliminated Naomi
3. Nikki Bella eliminated Natalya
4. Carmella eliminated Nikki Bella
5. Becky Lynch defeated Carmella

– Heath Slater and Rhyno became the first-ever WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions after defeating The Usos in the tournament finals at tonight’s Backlash pay-per-view in Richmond, Virginia.
The Usos defeated Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley earlier in the night to earn the shot against Slater and Rhyno in the finals. As noted, that “Second Chance” match was made after The Usos injured Chad Gable of American Alpha on last Tuesday’s SmackDown, forcing Alpha to be removed from the tournament finals.
The win also means Slater is now an official member of the SmackDown roster.

– AJ Styles became the new WWE Champion after defeating Dean Ambrose at tonight’s Backlash pay-per-view from Richmond, VA.
This is AJ’s first title reign since coming to WWE.
The finish saw AJ hit Ambrose with a low blow after the referee went down, then use a Styles Clash to get the pin.
