As noted, both Alberto Del Rio and Paige were suspended on the same day this week for their first violations of the WWE Wellness Policy, however, Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Del Rio and Paige were not suspended for the same thing.
With regards to their futures in WWE, Paige still has years left on her current WWE contract, so unless she is released by WWE she isn’t going anywhere for awhile.
With regards to Del Rio, we noted this week that he might have an out clause in his WWE contract which would allow him to leave the company sometime in September. Meltzer added there is a good chance Del Rio might leave once he can enact his out clause, and if that comes before his suspension ends, then we might have already seen the last of Del Rio in a WWE ring.
