– Former WWE Champion Batista recently spoke with Zap2It about his “Drax the Destroyer” character in the second Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy movie that comes out on May 5th, 2017. He commented on the character evolving:
“He’s not past it. This takes place not long after we left the first film. And also, how do you ever get past that kind of trauma? That’s what Drax lives for, that revenge. … We really explore, I think, we get more in depth with the relationships between the characters. We focus a lot more on that rather than his loss.”
