– As noted, Finn Balor underwent shoulder surgery earlier today after suffering an injury at the hands of Seth Rollins during their WWE Universal Title match at SummerSlam. WWE still has not updated Balor’s condition but he tweeted this post-surgery photo:

– The dark main event after tonight’s WWE SmackDown in Uncasville, CT saw John Cena, Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Dean Ambrose defeat Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Seth Rollins.
Cena did not appear live on tonight’s SmackDown following his loss to AJ Styles at SummerSlam.
The finish saw Reigns hit a spear and Superman punch on Rollins, Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on Wyatt and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Rowan for the pin. The babyfaces then posed for fans, gave merchandise to younger fans at ringside and celebrated to end the show.
