More on Daniel Bryan Ring Return, WWE RAW Posts Best Rating Since MITB Fallout

– As noted, Monday’s WWE RAW drew 3.413 million viewers, up from last week’s 3.315 million viewers for the post-SummerSlam show. The final rating for the show was a 2.38, up from last week’s 2.34 rating. This was the best RAW rating since the June 20th post-Money In the Bank episode, which drew a 2.44 rating.

– Sports Illustrated reported today in their weekly pro wrestling column that it is “unlikely Daniel Bryan will ever wrestle again in the WWE,” despite an article last week from Forbes claiming that “a source with inside knowledge” told them that “WWE has not completely shut the door on a Daniel Bryan return to the ring.” They noted the multi-million dollar concussion lawsuit against WWE and that WWE’s doctors have yet to clear Bryan.
