– Rolling Stone is reporting hip-hop performer and producer Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs will be appearing on WWE RAW next week in Anaheim, California.
Combs will make his first appearance for WWE since performing at Wrestlemania 29 in 2013; it has not been announced what his role on the show will be. WWE has since confirmed the Rolling Stone report, but only hyped the appearance and didn’t say what Combs’ will be doing on the show.
– WWE Hall of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland posted the following update regarding his scheduled appearance this month during WWE Summerslam weekend in New York City.
Edge and Christian were scheduled for a live Q&A reunion at Caroline’s on Broadway, but Edge posted the following explanation as to why he will not be able to appear at the event. Christian will still appear as scheduled:
The last couple of weeks have been whirlwind and my schedule has had to change almost entirely. Nature of the beast with this profession I guess. I was able to fulfill all of my commitments…but one. That is the Edge & Christian q&a at Caroline’s in NYC on Aug.21. I really hate having to pull out but there’s just no way to make it back to the UK in time to be back Monday morning the 22nd and pull it all off. I’ve been scrambling to make it work but I can’t, hence the late notice. It sucks and I apologize. I’ve always prided myself on making my commitments and I hate that I can’t in this instance. The event isn’t cancelled, Christian will still be there at his witty best. Hopefully with some surprises in store. Again I apologize. Hate letting my folks down with all the support you show me.
