WWE hyped their SummerSlam match with this video package.
– As noted, Monday’s WWE RAW drew 2.911 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.338 million viewers and the lowest viewership for a non-holiday episode in the modern era. The final rating for the show was a 2.05, down from last week’s 2.30 rating. This was the third-lowest RAW rating of 2016, next to the 2.03 rating from June 13th against the NBA Finals and the record-low 1.87 rating on July 4th.
– We noted before that Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley vs. Tyler Breeze and Fandango was taped for Main event after last night’s WWE SmackDown in Bakersfield. The other post-SmackDown match saw WWE Champion Dean Ambrose defeat Bray Wyatt by disqualification in the dark main event. The two wrestled until Wyatt used a steel chair for the DQ. Ambrose came back and hit Dirty Deeds to end the show.
