Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode will make his official WWE NXT TV debut on the August 10th episode in an in-ring segment. Roode made his in-ring debut for NXT during the recent UK tour.
Roode appeared at last night’s NXT TV tapings at Full Sail University and cut a promo, saying the wait is finally over and he is NXT. Roode started out cutting a babyface promo, saying he’s here to expand the brand and make it a global powerhouse. Roode went on to say that he will be featured on commercials, billboards and everywhere else as he will make NXT a better place. He said the NXT Arena will soon be filled by businessmen, Presidents and Vice Presidents, not loser fans. Roode declared himself a Superstar because he looks and acts like one, then said he is at the helm of the new NXT and from here on out, NXT will be glorious.
