– On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, show hosts Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer discussed Charlotte losing the WWE Womens Title to Sasha Banks on Raw this week. Both show hosts noted that while not confirmed, they heard from sources that Charlotte recently requested some time off from WWE, which might explain the title change.
It should be noted that Ric Flair talked about Charlotte losing the title on the latest episode of The Ric Flair Show and said that a SummerSlam rematch is on the horizon for her. He also called Monday’s match the greatest women’s match on television.
