– Randy Orton has been out with a shoulder injury since 2015, but is scheduled for upcoming WWE live events. Orton is expected to return to the ring soon.
Orton is advertised as the top star for the live event at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, August 28th. There are other names advertised but could change due to the brand split in July. Tickets for the live event are on sale now.
– Speaking of the brand split, Dave Melzter, from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, has noted that WWE is calling 40+ year old guys to return. This seems a bit odd because WWE has been calling this a “new era.” You can see Meltzer’s tweet below:
WWE just realized they have to fill two rosters, calling lots of 40+ year old guys to return for the new era.
