Simon Gotch Possibly Injured, Ambrose Defends Against Owens & Zayn, More

Simon Gotch of The Vaudevillians appeared to have suffered an injury at tonight’s WWE live event in Jacksonville, FL. During the match featuring The New Day defending the tag team championships against The Lucha Dragons and The Vaudevillians, Gotch took a stiff kick to the face. Gotch didn’t get back up for the rest of the match, and he was helped to the back after the match by Aiden English and a doctor. Gotch was apparently fine backstage after the match and was saying that he was OK.

Below are the results:

– The New Day def. The Lucha Dragons & The Vaudevillians in a triple threat match to retain the WWE tag titles. Our correspondent noted that Simon Gotch may have been injured during the match, as it looked like he needed help getting to the back.

– Rusev def. Apollo Crews with the Accolade to retain the U.S. title.

– Paige & Becky Lynch def. Charlotte & Lana with Lynch’s Disarmor submission.

– Big Show & Kane def. Eric Rowan & Braun Strowman with a double chokeslam.

– Goldust def. Fandango with the Final Cut. No Breezango and Golden Truth tonight, apparently.

– Big Cass & Enzo Amore def. The Dudley Boyz with the Rocket Launcher.

– Dean Ambrose def. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn in a triple threat match to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Ambrose pinned Owens after Dirty Deeds.
