– As noted, Sheamus was one of several WWE stars at the Wizard World Comic Con this past weekend in Philadelphia. Movie Pilot has an article here with some highlights from his appearance, including Sheamus saying that he would like a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“I want to be a part of the Marvel Universe,” Sheamus said. “I’m a big fan of the Marvel comics and The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, but I would love to be a part of the Marvel Universe.”
– Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, featuring Sheamus as Rocksteady, topped the box office this past weekend with $35.25 million. It was 46% below the $65.6 million weekend that the TMNT reboot garnered in August 2014. TMNT 2 also cost $10 million more to produce than the 2014 reboot.
