OFFICIAL: Brock Lesnar Returning to The UFC, WWE Issues Statement

UFC officially announced on tonight’s UFC 199 PPV that former Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will be returning to the company at UFC 200 on July 9. A video package was shown promoting the event and then a clip of Lesnar was shown at the end with his voice yelling out “can you see me now?”

No opponent has been named as of this writing but Mark Hunt is one of the names being thrown around.

Brock Lesnar had an option put into his contract prior to this year’s WrestleMania that would allow him to have a fight in the UFC.

WWE released the following statement concerning Brock Lesnar’s WWE status after the news broke that he will be returning to UFC at UFC 200:

Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.
