WWE RAW RESULTS – JUNE 13, 2016

WWE RAW Opener:

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens up with a standard intro. We’re live from New Orleans as the entire WWE roster is on the stage. Lilian Garcia is in the ring and she leads us in a moment of silence for the victims of the terror attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

– Michael Cole hypes The Ambrose Asylum with Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns for later tonight. He’s joined by Byron Saxton and JBL. Also tonight, a Money In the Bank contract signing with AJ Styles and John Cena.

– We go to the ring and out comes WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day to a pop.

Big E appreciates the reaction for them. Kofi says Sunday on pay per view, they will defend their WWE World Tag Team Chamiponship against not one, not two, but three other teams in a Fatal Four Way Match. Who ar these other teams?

Xavier asks Kofi why is he wearing his old people shoes and Kofi says these are the Steph Curry shoes. He says these are hot in the streets. Big E and Xavier insult the shoes. Kofi says he does not care because these shoes are fire. Regardless of the shoes they wear on their feet at the Money in the Bank pay per view, they will walk out of the building with the titles because… New Day Rocks.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass make their way onto the stage and Enzo does his sprints.

Big Cass and Enzo enter the ring. Big Cass says this Sunday at Money in the Bank, he and Zo have their first opportunity at the WWE Tag Team Championship. They are going to Vegas, they are going all in, and they are walking out with those titles. He says they all cool with what the New Day is doing. The Unicorns, the cereal, the for her pleasure massagers on their foreheads. If they are going to be teaming up tonight, he has one question. He asks Kofi if he is serious about his Jerry Seinfeld shoes.

Kofi says you need to respect your veteran so enough about the shoes. Cass says let’s not talk about shoes. Let’s talk about Franny. If Francesca 2 is your girl, where was she last night. Cass says she was with Enzo and he had his lips all over her. Enzo says that they might have been in New Orleans last night, but Franny is no Saint. Enzo says he was playing Franny like Louis Armstrong.

Xavier tells Enzo he is the only one who blows his girl. Kofi says it is the moment they have all been waiting for… a battle of wits between Enzo and Cass and the New Day.

The Vaudevillains come out to be Jousting Poopers. Simon asks for the children’s section to be quiet for a moment. Only those who can embrace a bygone era can entertain these people. Aiden says that you will all learn this on Sunday, but it is New Era and the new tag champs will be, the greatest team there is in WWE.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson make their way to the stage and Karl wants everyone to shut up. He asks if this is Camp WWE’s talent show. Playtime is over. Luke says they hate to the be funtime police, but not really. There will only be one team with the tag titles held high in the air and it looks like it will be easier than scoring a touchdown on the New Orleans Saints.

Big Cass says that since they are in the Big Easy… he will make it easy to spell out the one word to describe the Vaudevillains and Club. We go to commercial.

He has a sick move that is so dope if he needs to change things.

Bob tells him to bring it down to earth. Bob tells Darren he needs to save money. Darren says he will do that. When he goes to the movies, he will get a small bag of popcorn instead of a medium or large. Maybe he won’t go to the movies. Darren asks Bob how he saves so much money. Bob says this is his only pair of clothes.

Darren asks if he has multiples and Bob says you need to want it. Darren says he will cut back on the shopping. Bob asks Darren about a bow tie.

He is here to provide his services. Stephanie says Kane is psychotic. Kane has his resume and he says if that doesn’t set their house on fire, he has a letter of recommendation from his brother, The Undertaker. Stephanie gives it to Shane. Kane says he has some ideas to make Smackdown red hot. Shane at least listens as we go back to the announcers.

– We take a look at what happened when Seth Rollins turned on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in June 2014. Back to commercial.

The Ambrose Asylum:

We go to the ring and out comes Dean Ambrose for another edition of The Ambrose Asylum.

Dean says the Ambrose Asylum is back by popular demand. They say Wrestlemania only happens once a year so he does not know if he is in a coma since Money in the Bank feels like Wrestlemania. They have the most loaded Money in the Bank Ladder matches, not because he is in it. There are two Wrestlemania quality matches and he wants to talk about the one that is two years in the making, Seth Rollins versus Roman Reigns. Dean asks some rhetorical questions about Money in the Bank, but that is in Las Vegas.

Dean brings out the ‘scum of the Earth’ Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Dean says this is great and he says this is fun. He wants to get right down to it and he asks Seth about the knee. Seth asks if Dean has not watched his special on the WWE Network. He will take that as a no. His knee is 100% ready to go. Dean says that is good to hear. He asks Seth about his face because… it’s killing him. Dean asks Roman how is the Big Easy treating him and he says pretty good and then the crowd boos him. He says it was good on Bourbon Street last night. Dean asks Seth if he is hitting up the 99 cent margaritas. He calls Seth a sour puss and tells him to stop being a party pooper because no one is trying to come out of a box to attack him.

Seth mentions Wrestlemania a few years ago when they beat the New Age Outlaws and Kane. Then he mentions the helicopter in London. He brings up the sushi train in Tokyo. Seth asks Roman about finding Dean passed out by the dumpster. He says they had some good times. The best times he had in this ring were with you guys. They won titles and travelled the world. What about the six man tag match against the Wyatt Family or the two matches against Evolution. They sent Batista packing so he owes them a favor since he is a huge star. Seth says the best time he every had in a ring with you guys was when he took a chair and put it in your back. Another big Shield moment was when he stole Roman’s moment and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to be the first one of the Shield to win the World Title.

Dean asks Roman about the match on Sunday and what can they expect. Roman says the Big Dog walks in as champ and The Big Dog walks out as champ. Dean asks Seth about his claim that he is still the champion. Seth asks if Roman ever beat him for the title. Dean asks Roman about that. Roman says if Seth is the rightful champ, why does he have this. Dean tells Roman he asks the questions.

Seth says Roman has that because his knee gave out because he was carrying this company for the better part of last year. While he was gone, Roman earned it because he beat you. Then he beat Sheamus and then he beat the Game at Wrestlemania. You earned it, but one thing you haven’t done is beat him. He says that Roman cannot beat him because he is better than Roman. He is two steps ahead of Roman every step of the way. They are a lot alike, but there is one big difference. You could not have won that without him. If he did not hold Roman’s hand, he never would have done it. If he was not injured, Roman never would have won the title. Seth says he will do it on his own and he will win back the title on his own at Money in the Bank.

Dean asks Seth if he will have anyone there to help him. Roman says Seth took his Wrestlemania moment on his own. He broke up the Shield on his own. Seth destroyed a family. They were the only ones who had his back. Roman says that Seth wants to be the man. You will have the spotlight because you will be on your own. They will call him THE GUY after Money in the Bank, not because he is champ, but because he beat Seth. Dean asks what happens if he wins Money in the Bank? What if he cashes in that same night and walks out WWE Champion?

Ambrose drops the mic and his music hits to end it. Rollins shoves Ambrose into Reigns, sending him to the floor. Ambrose unloads on Rollins. Reigns comes back in and pulls him off. Rollins misses a Pedigree and takes a Superman punch. Ambrose drops Reigns with Dirty Deeds. Ambrose stands tall and looks up at the briefcase as his music hits.

– John Cena is in the back with Shane McMahon. We go to commercial.

Backstage:

Back from the break and Stephanie McMahon approaches Ambrose backstage. She says he managed to turn his show around and make it all about him. She announces he will be in the main event against Chris Jericho tonight. Ambrose says Stephanie has so much hatred and poison running through her veins, he wonders if it’s contagious. He says Sami is acting like a child. Sami tells Cesaro not to talk down to him. They are equals as far as they are concerned. Cesaro says he has been here for four years, Sami has been here for four months. It does not matter what you have done elsewhere, it matters what you have done in the WWE. He tells Sami to try to start tonight. We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Charlotte yells at Dana for costing her the match. She says that Dana failed with Emma and she has failed up as the champion’s assistant. There is no room for failure at the top. Their arrangement was in exchange for her friendship, Dana gets to be a part of her legacy. If the same happens at Money in the Bank, there will be no place for you. There is some work that will need to be done before Sunday.

Alberto storms in and he yells at Kevin and blames him for having airport security detain him for five hours. He vows to take Kevin down. Kevin says that Alberto is not special because he can speak more than one language and Kevin speaks in French. Kane says that he understands how conflict in the workplace can destroy morale. He suggests a team building exercise. Why not team up to face the Lucha Dragons. If the Lucha Dragons win, they replace you in Money in the Bank. Kevin says that idea is ridiculous, but Shane likes it and that match will happen.

In the Arena:

Back from the break and Michael Cole is in the ring for a Money In the Bank contract signing. He brings out John Cena to a mixed reaction first.

John says they have a rowdy crowd in New Orleans tonight. This Sunday on the WWE Network, Money in the Bank might as well be Wrestlemania. Money in the Bank match, champion versus the man who never lost the title, and a history making match no one thought we would see. People have asked what would happen if John Cena faced AJ Styles. He says he loves WWE and whatever reason the decision makers would tell AJ he did not belong. John says he respects AJ Styles because whether it was PWG, New Japan, or Ring of Honor, there was a name that was associated with greatness and that is AJ Styles. John says he has won fifteen championships but AJ has won more in that time.

Finally AJ Styles got the chance and he is here. The two WWE Superstars who can walk around without a title and still be called champ will face off on Sunday. This is a history making match and this is a history making contract signing. This is going to be a little different tonight. He tells Cole to step aside. All they need now to make history is AJ Styles.

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring.

AJ says for the past two weeks, he has turned John’s world upside down. AJ says the world is still talking about what he did to John Cena. AJ says at Money in the Bank, he will do it again. When that bell rings, he will run circles around John and John will say ‘you can’t see me’ because you can’t beat me.

John tells AJ that there are two contracts. One is for a singles match. The other is John Cena versus The Club. With the Club at ringside, you will get his best and you will win the match and secure your role as captain of the Bitch Club. You could sign the other one and bring it back to the electricity we had when we first stood together in the ring. Sign this contract and we get the real answer to ‘what if’

AJ says that he sees what John is doing. He says that John does not think he can beat him one on one. Is it because you are a fifteen time champion? Because you won the Royal Rumble twice? Is it because you are the face that runs this place? What if AJ Styles was here fifteen years ago? You wouldn’t have been a fifteen time champion. You wouldn’t have won the Royal Rumble twice. You wouldn’t be on magazine covers and been the star of crappy movies. AJ says he would have been the face of this company.

John says your club isn’t full of bullets, it is full of bull. You sound like all of the other indie guys who claim it could have been them, but you have the chance to prove it. He tells John to sign the contract and prove him wrong. Or you sign that and you aren’t going to need him to bury Styles, You will bury yourself and they can put you on a bullet train back home because you left your balls over there.

AJ signes the contract for the singles match. AJ tells John you are going to find out he is not every independent guy with your K-Mart shopping ass. After Money in the Bank, you will get the message that your time is up and his time is now.
