As noted, Ryback has reportedly been sent home by WWE officials due to a contract dispute. It was noted that the two sides have been negotiating a new deal but couldn’t come to terms.
It was noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Ryback met with Vince McMahon earlier in the day on Monday, about Ryback’s contract that’s coming due in the next few months as the company likes to re-sign people a few months in advance.
Ryback apparently didn’t like the money being offered and Vince reportedly told Ryback, in so many words, that he should go home if he didn’t like the offer. It was noted that Vince suggested Ryback go home but Ryback didn’t argue with it.
No word yet if Ryback is done until his contract expires but it looks like he could be paid to sit at home until the deal expires, until there is some sort of reconciliation.
