As noted, WWE star Ryback met with Vince McMahon backstage at WWE Raw this week and ended up leaving the tapings following a contract dispute with Vince.
Ryback then posted a lengthy blog post on his WWE status, and claimed the dispute wasn’t over money, but rather the discrepancy in pay between winners and losers.
However, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio this week, the dispute between Ryback and Vince McMahon was indeed about money, although there were several other issues included in the dispute as well. One demand Meltzer heard was that Ryback had asked for WWE to pay for hotels on the road, which Meltzer added is covered in “pretty much any other profession.”
