Chris Jericho’s WWE Status, Schedule Heading Into The Summer

Several readers have asked the future of Chris Jericho following his loss to Dean Ambrose at last night’s WWE Extreme Rules. Y2J is not being advertised for the vast majority of live events after this week’s WWE Winnipeg house show (he’s from Winnipeg, you idiot!), however, Jericho is still being advertised for several upcoming episodes of Raw and Smackdown and is expected to compete at next month’s WWE Money in the Bank PPV.

Many have expected the self-proclaimed “best in the world” to take some time away from the ring, as his current run with the company is approaching the 5-month mark. Despite this, WWE is listing Jericho in advertisements throughout June and into July, including the WWE Battleground PPV and the upcoming WWE Japan tour, so it appears as though Y2J will be treating us to the Gift of Jericho for awhile longer.
