– We noted earlier Chris Jericho teased on Twitter that he finished his most recent WWE run at Payback last night, in the loss to Dean Ambrose.
Jericho is still advertised for several WWE events this summer, including the July shows in Japan. PWInsider confirms that Jericho is scheduled to be at RAW in St. Louis tonight and SmackDown in Kansas City tomorrow. That does not mean he will be on TV but he is scheduled to be there.
– The original plan for The Vaudevillains vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass at last night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view had Simon Gotch and Aiden English winning the match to become new #1 contenders to WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. As noted, there were rumors that The Dudley Boyz would cost Enzo and Cass the match but the match ended due to Enzo suffering a concussion.
