AAA star Angelico apparently suffered an elbow injury at Sunday’s Lucha Underground TV tapings. Angelico reportedly landed badly after doing a springboard move. The referee threw up an “X” and other wrestlers finished the match while Angelico was taken to the back.
There was another injury this weekend as Matanza Cueto (Jeff Cobb) suffered an arm injury at Saturday’s tapings. Cueto punched through a glass window, sliced a vein and was rushed to a local hospital. There was blood everywhere but the injury isn’t as serious as it appeared, and Cueto is expected back in the ring next week. This was similar to the limousine window incident that almost ended Bill Goldberg’s career in WCW, putting him out of action for months.
