– WWE will be returning to Japan for events on July 1st and July 2nd in Tokyo. Promotional material in Japan is advertising AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Asuka as the top billed stars for the events. Others names being advertised include Roman Reigns, WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, Sheamus, Rusev, Chris Jericho and Paige.
– As noted, WWE has changed the name of Shinsuke Nakamura’s finishing move from Bomaye to Kinshasa. According to The Wrestling Observer, this was done because an American clothing company already has the name Bomaye trademarked.
– WWE announced on Friday that the next NXT Takeover live special would take place on June 8th. They also reported that the next set of NXT TV tapings will be on May 19th and June 9th at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.
