As noted, WWE had plans to overhaul the Divas Division, specifically by getting rid of the term “Diva” and rebranding the Division as the “Womens Division”. The current “butterfly” Divas Championship belt is also reportedly being replaced with a new Womens Tile belt, similar to that of the WWE World Title belt.
The change was supposed to take place on WWE Raw tomorrow night, but because both the WWE World Champion and Divas Champion are scheduled to appear on NBC’s “The Today Show” tomorrow morning, the change is likely going to take place tonight at WrestleMania 32 so it can be reflected on TV tomorrow morning.
