WWE NXT RESULTS – MARCH 30, 2016

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Corey Graves and Tom Phillips.

Chad Gable and Jason Jordan vs. Corey Hollis and John Skyler

Jordan and Hollis start things off and Jordan with a waist lock and he tags in Gable and Gable catches Hollis and takes him to the mat. Gable with a front face lock and Hollis tries to escape but Gable holds on to the top position until he applies a hammer lock. Gable with a bridge while he has Hollis in the hammer lock and then he returns to the standard hammer lock. Hollis with a forearm and he tags in Skyler. Skyler with a wrist lock. Gable with a reversal into a drop toe hold and arm bar. Jordan tags in and Jordan with a drop kick.

Jordan with a front face lock on Skyler. Gable tags back in and he hits a slingshot arm drag into an arm bar. Gable maintains the arm bar while Jordan watches from the apron. Skyler grabs the hair and he runs Gable into the corner. Hollis tags in and Gable with elbows. Skyler with a slam and Hollis with a knee drop for a near fall. Hollis punches Gable. Gable with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on Hollis followed by one to Skyler. Jordan tags in and sends Hollis into the air. Jordan with a half nelson exploder to Skyler. Jordan with a running shoulder and then he tags in Gable and they hit Grand Amplitude for the three count.

Winners: Chad Gable and Jason Jordan

We see Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson watching on a monitor in the back.

Corey and Tom talk about who has the advantage in the Tag Title Match on Friday night.

We get comments from Finn Balor. He says he has heard everything that Samoa Joe has said. Joe acts like he is bigger than NXT. He has become obsessed with winning the NXT Title and beating Finn Balor. Joe is obsessed with the wrong things. Finn says he is obsessed with being the best and that obsession brought him to NXT. That obsession led him to beat Kevin Owens in Tokyo. His obsession allowed him to beat Joe in London. His obsession will help him win in Dallas. Finn says two more days.

We go to commercial.

Baron Corbin vs. Mike Cuellari

Corbin with a kick on a test of strength set up and Corbin with another kick. Cuellari with punches and a drop kick. Corbin with a clothesline and Corbin with a punch in the corner. Corbin with kicks to Cuellari. Corbin with Deep Six for the three count.

Winner: Baron Corbin

After the match, Corbin hits End of Days and then he poses.

We take a look at Shinsuke Nakamura with a video package.

Finn Balor says that Nakamura is one of the best. Kevin Owens says he went from not knowing him to being a fan after facing him. Matt Bloom talks about him being labeled the King of Strong Style and how he did things that were different from anyone else. AJ Styles says that Nakamura is one of the best he has faced. He is very flamboyant but he will kick your head off. AJ says he is perfect for the WWE. Finn says he would tell Nakamura to be himself.

We go to commercial with a ‘No Way Jose’ vignette.

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder vs. Tucker Knight and Steve Cutler

Dawson and Cutler start things off and they lock up. Dawson backs Cutler into the corner and tags in Wilder. Cutler gets out of the corner and Knight comes in and we have a four man stand off. Wilder with a hammer lock and Cutler with a reversal. Wilder with an elbow and side head lock. Dawson tags in and WIlder with a kick and Dawson drops Cutler midsection first on the top rope. Dawson gets a near fall. Wilder tag in and he punches Cutler from the apron. Wilder with a European uppercut and then he works on the midsection. Wilder with a waist lock.

Wilder tags in Dawson and Wilder with a drop toe hold and Dawson with an elbow drop. Dawson rubs his knee across Cutler’s face. Dawson tags in Wilder. Dawson drops Cutler on Wilder’s knee and Wilder gets a near fall. Wilder with a seated abdominal stretch into an arm bar. Wilder with a front face lock and Dawson tags in. Wilder picks up Cutler and Dawson grabs Cutler for a gourdbuster and he connects with forearms. Dawson with a drop kick and he gets a near fall on Cutler. Wilder tags in and Dawson tries for another suplex but Cutler tags in Knight. Knight with shoulder tackles followed by a drop kick. Knight with a splash to Wilder but Dawson tags in. Knight with a Thesz Press to Wilder. Dawson goes to the floor and Wilder tags in and they hit Shatter Machine for the three count.

Winner: Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

After the match, Wilder and Dawson walk across Knight’s chest.

We see Gable and Jordan in the back on a monitor.

We take a look at what happened last week when Samoa Joe attacked Bull Dempsey.

Bull Dempsey is in the back and he is asked about what happened last week and his match against Joe tonight. Bull says he was going to chalk it up to Joe being jealous that Bull is in better shape but Joe is a bully. Bull says that he is not going to be bullied. BullFit is going to give Samoa Joe a cheat meal tonight and they are going to be these hamhocks. He will be giving Joe a lesson on his way to Dallas and that is Fit Happens.

We go to commercial.

Alex Riley vs. Apollo Crews

They lock up and Crews with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Riley with a clothesline. Crews with punches but Riley with a kick to the thigh. Riley with punches in the corner. Riley with a head butt and then he hits a snap elbow drop and gets a near fall. Riley with a chop and Irish whip. Crews with a clothesline out of the corner followed by a second clothesline and a Stinger Splash. Crews with a clothesline. Crews with an enzuigiri followed by a toss power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews

After the match, Elias Samson comes out for a concert and he sings to stay on the path to avoid the harm. Confidence has created but it will rattle and fall. A one man nation is about to lose it all. Goodbye hello my plan. What it needs is what I am.

Crews holds the ropes open for Samson. Elias takes off his guitar and he makes his way towards the ring, but he backs away from the apron and heads up the ramp.

Baron Corbin is in the back and he says Austin Aries has not stepped foot in an arena since he got punked out. Austin did an interview and talked a big game. For a little man 3000 miles away, he knows the truth. What happened to him the last time will happen again. At Takeover Dallas, you will lose and you can wow your crowds of 50 people with your Fighting Spirit. Baron says that he will continue to be the hottest star in the hottest company in the world. Don’t worry, there is no shame in getting beaten by a bigger and better man. After he ends Austin’s career in an arena, you can take a photo of him standing over you and you can sit next to Virgil at a convention begging for people to remember that you used to be someone. The End of Days is coming. For those fans who love you, you can tell them the story that not just anyone ended your career, but the Lone Wolf.

We are back with a video package about the Women’s Title Match between Bayley and Asuka.

Bayley says they started somethin special and something real. Charlotte says that Bayley represents everything, even what the Divas Champion should be. Bayley says they started a Divas Revolution. Becky Lynch says that Bayley is a great role model for little girls or little boys, even grown women and men. She epitomizes the women’s division. Sasha Banks says that when Bayley goes out there she wants to prove that she is the best.

We see William Regal’s announcement of Asuka signing and we see footage of her destruction. Emma says that Asuka is dangerous. Dana Brooke says those kicks are so stiff and those shots to the head are knockouts. Nothing gets her out of her element. She mentions what she tried to do and it didn’t work.

We see William Regal’s announcement of the Women’s Title Match at Takeover Dallas.

Charlotte says Bayley never gives up and Asuka is a power house. Becky and Sasha say that Bayley will win. Emma says nothing will get her ready for the ass kicking she will get from Asuka. Dana says that once she gives you that smile it is all over. Carmella says that Asuka might have the momentum, but Bayley is the champion for a reason.

Sami Zayn was asked about facing Shinsuke Nakamura. Sami says that he got his hands on Kevin Owens recently but he is not forgetting about Nakamura. This is a great opportunity, especially for Nakamura. He is looking to make a big impression in his first match. Zayn says he did the same three years ago wtih Cesaro and because of that match, he is sitting here now. Some say he is the heart and soul of NXT and whether it is true or not, he is proud of his legacy in NXT. Sami is not going to let Nakamura make his name and legacy at his expense. This is the biggest show in NXT history on the biggest weekend in WWE History. Sami says this is a once in a lifetime match, even though he may face Nakamura again in the future, but you only get one chance at a first impression. He knows how talented and gifted Nakamura is, but let’s see if he can step up to the plate when the pressure is on.

Bull Dempsey vs. Samoa Joe

Bull goes after Joe when the bell rings and Bull with punches. Joe with a chop but Bull with a shoulder tackle. Joe with a back elbow and kicks. Joe with jabs and punches in the corner. Joe with an Irish whip and running elbow into the corner followed by an enzuigiri. Joe with a face wash and he sets for a running boot but Bull gets up and punches Joe. Joe with a kick and an STO. Joe with a choke and Bull taps out.

Winner: Samoa Joe

After the match, Joe refuses to release the hold and officials come to the ring to wave their arms and tell Joe to release the hold. Officials and other wreslters come out to try to get Joe off Dempsey. Joe attacks the people who try to help Dempsey. Joe looks at Regal and Regal points his finger at Joe and tells him something, but Joe returns to the choke on Dempsey.

Finn Balor comes out to the ring and he attacks Joe with punches. Balor with punches and Balor drop kicks Joe to the floor. Joe pulls Finn out of the ring and sends him into the apron. Finn with a punch and he sends Joe into the apron. Finn with a running kick to Joe from the apron. Balor with a running drop kick and Joe goes through the guardrails. They fight towards the announce table and Joe with a biel that sends Balor over the announce table, taking out Corey and Tom.

Balor comes off the stage and hits a splash onto Joe. Joe and Balor with punches. Balor takes Joe down as more officials try to separate them. Joe gets free and he goes after Balor and Balor punches back.

We go to credits.
