As noted, former TNA World Heavyweight Champions Eric Young and Bobby Roode are now free agents as they requested their releases and finished up with the company this weekend.
Roode and Young, who are really good friends, both signed their TNA contracts together 12 years ago.
There are rumors that the departures are related to WWE, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. It was described as a situation where everyone knows Roode and Young are gone but nobody knows where they’re headed.
Obviously there has been a lot of speculation about Roode and Young possibly going to WWE but nothing has been confirmed yet. We will keep you updated.
