WWE RAW Results – April 2, 2018

WWE RAW Results - April 2, 2018

We are live from the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Jonathan Coachman is in the ring at the lectern with two tables and four chairs. He says that the road to Sunday is almost finished and they will start off tonight with the face off with two teams competing at Wrestlemania.

Coach introduces RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and her husband, Triple H. Out comes The Authority. They hit the ring where there are two tables and four chairs set up. Coach introduces RAW General Manager Kurt Angle next. Coach introduces Ronda Rousey last and out she comes to join Angle. They head to the ring together.

Triple H interrupts Coach’s announcement that we will be taking questions from the WWE Universe.

He asks Kurt how does it feel with everyone chanting for Ronda. He says they want to like you but the deafening noise will be deafening silence because of Kurt. Hunter runs through Kurt’s accomplishments, Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence. Hunter says he agrees with the first two, but he never got the intelligence. The biggest signing in WWE history and you ruin it. You set her up for embarrassment and a loss on the biggest stage of them all.

Why?

Kurt is interrupted by Ronda and she says she wants to know why is Hunter so two faced to sign her with ulterior motives. Stephanie says that Ronda does not understand the format so they will polish her and rebuild her after she loses at Wrestlemania. Ronda wants to know where her answer is in this Q&A.

Stephanie says they signed her because she is a huge star. This crowd is testament. They cheer and chant for you. They want to see you in the ring more than anything. They brought her here because she is what is best for business. Stephanie says that her husband asked Kurt a question and she points out that Kurt and Ronda work for her and she asks the questions. She asks Ronda who the hell does she think she is.

Kurt says that Ronda is an Olympic medalist, a UFC champion and on Sunday, she will make Stephanie tap out on Sunday.

Hunter understands they built entire divisions for Ronda in UFC but in this ring, it means absolutely nothing. Ronda has been dreaming of coming to WWE her whole life, but to Stephanie and him it is their whole life. They know the rules and Ronda has no idea what is going to happen here. Hunter says they make the rules so that is why they know them so well. It is a foregone conclusion that Ronda is going to lose.

The first question is how important is it to win on Sunday and how much will it affect things in the WWE.

Stephanie says they will win. They will show that if there is an uprising they will bite the head off the snake. They will force everyone to respect authority.

Kurt is asked about teaming with Ronda Rousey. Kurt says that Ronda is the baddest woman on the planet and she will prove it on Sunday.

They are asked for any final thoughts.

Stephanie reminds Ronda she chose this path and she will lose at Wrestlemania in her first match. Everyone knows how you handle losses. Stephanie comments on Ronda’s jacket.

Ronda asks if Stephanie is right handed or left handed. Stephanie says she is right handed and wants to know why Ronda asked. Ronda says she still wants Stephanie to be able to sign her checks after she rips one of her arms off.

Coachman says they are going to do a photo op and it will be done in a classy way. Angle and Triple H shake hands while Rousey and Stephanie stare each other down. John says that is four weeks straight of an audience pouring their hearts out for you. You don’t have the common decency to stand up and do a thing. Is he disappointed about Wrestlemania? In the Arena:

We are back and Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring with Brock Lesnar who bounces on the stage and leaps into the ring.

We see some other wrestlers on the ramp to make sure that Roman does not come to the ring through the stage.

Just because you had your manhood handed to you and showed that you were a horrible mentor to Ronda Rousey, you have proven that you have no control about what happens based on what he says. Control is held by the one who has the title and that control is by Brock Lesnar.

Paul says he will tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. It is the truth that before the last Wrestlemania that happened in New Orleans, he said his client would conquer the Undertaker’s undefeated streak. You booed it then and you boo it now. He says he told you it wasn’t a prediction, it was a spoiler. At Wrestlemania in New Orleans, he conquered the Undertaker’s streak. Then they laughed at each and every one of you.

It is a fact in six days that Wrestlemania will happen in New Orleans. The only two beings who hold Wrestlemania victories over the Undertaker will meet in the main event and it is thought that it is fait accompli that Roman will defeat Brock Lesnar. Paul says you have to be impressed with Roman Reigns and you have to respect his bloodline and badassery. The truth is that this Sunday, April 8, 2018, in New Orleans, Brock Lesnar will F5 Roman Reigns and pin him in the center of the ring.

That is not a prediction, that is a spoiler.

If something should happen to Brock and Roman becomes the Universal Champion, this is the last time that you will see Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman on Raw.

Paul says he will save his goodbyes for his social media and Brock will say his hellos in the UFC. Paul says that the image that he has built himself around Brock since 2002 and he has the attitude that none of you can shine his boots. The image that Brock looks at all of you with disdain. The image that Brock fights who he wants when he wants and under the conditions that he does. That image is true. There is not one person in the back who can hold his jock or take his title. None of you can afford to pay enough to see what this once in a lifetime talent can do.

Roman’s only choice is to accept defeat. It is easy to choose when you have no options. Your options are like your ass because they are owned by Brock Lesnar.

Roman will have to go back to his family and say that he got beaten, defeated, and conquered by Brock Lesnar. The truth is that Roman Reigns ain’t the Big Dog against Brock Lesnar and this ain’t your yard. You will be another notch on Brock Lesnar’s title belt.

The truth is you are just Brock Lesnar’s bitch.

Brock starts to leave the ring but Roman Reigns’ music plays and he makes his way to the stage but he is stopped by the phalanx of wrestlers on the stage. Reigns tries to walk through them but they’re not letting him, mainly The Bar and Titus O’Neil. Lesnar raises the title in the ring and taunts Reigns. Reigns asks if these full time talents are really going to protect this part time bastard. Reigns tells them to think about it. They step to the side and fans cheer. Lesnar stumbles back to his feet again. Reigns nails a 5th Superman Punch. Lesnar is flat on his back as Reigns grabs the title and taunts Lesnar with it. Reigns raises the title high to a mixed reactions. Lesnar jumps up and nails the F5 while Reigns is looking up at the WrestleMania sign. Lesnar grabs the title and retreats to ringside with Heyman. Lesnar holds his head high and marches up the ramp as his music plays. Reigns recovers in the ring as RAW goes off the air.
