WWE Permanently Moving Goldust to 205 Live? WWE Not Bringing Back the Slammy Awards, The Revival Wants A Title Shot

– Dash Wilder of The Revival tweeted at Raw General Manager Kurt Angle about giving the Top Guys a shot at Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan’s Raw Tag Titles. He reminded Angle they are undefeated as a team since coming to the main roster. Scott Dawson had been out of action since August with a right bicep injury, but made his return to TV last month.

– As seen on WWE television this week, Goldust wrestled a cruiserweight match on RAW and then again on this week’s episode of 205 Live.

Dave Meltzer discussed Goldust’s status on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and indicated that Goldust will be working 205 Live events moving forward, even though he doesn’t meet the weight requirements and clearly isn’t a cruiserweight. The belief is that any established RAW talent working 205 Live has more chances of bringing in viewership and increasing ticket sales than someone who only works the 205 Live shows.

– It doesn’t appear that WWE has plans to bring back the Slammy Awards anytime soon.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider was recently asked about the company bringing annual awards and mentioned that they decided to drop the concept last year but have been looking at new ideas for the event. As of this writing, there are no plans to bring it back. Johnson speculates that it could return in a few years.

We will keep you updated if that decision changes in the future.
