WWE RAW Results – Nov 27, 2017

We begin with a video package featuring Kane’s comments about Strowman and then we see what Kane has done to Braun over the last few weeks.

– We are in Knoxville, Tennessee and your announcers are Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Booker T.

Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring.

Roman says last week was a big week for him. The Shield reunited and then they beat the New Day Survivor Series. The next night, he got an opportunity. Roman appreciates the cheers from the crowd and then he mentions that he is the new Intercontinental Champion.

We take a look at comments from Miz after Raw when he was attacked by the Shield.

Roman says you aren’t going to see the Miz for a while, but you will see this title. Roman says that Miz was right about one thing, that this title is prestigous. He will be a fightning champion and this is THE Title. If you want this, all you have to do is stand up and take it.

Miz’ music plays and Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas make their way to the stage. Bo says how dare you disrespect the most must see Intercontinental Champion of All Time. The only thing that hurts more than the pain in his neck is the pain in his heart of having to see Roman with the title. They will not be able to take revenge but they know someone who can.

Elias’ guitar is heard and he makes his way to the stage.

Elias says he will be performing later tonight. Elias says that MIz is a good guy and when he saw these two men lost and abandoned after his defeat, he knew he could guide them and lead them to find the fire that was in their hearts. Tonight, Elias says he will take the Intercontinental Champion.

Roman says it sounds like Elias wants to walk with the Big Dog and Roman says that he’s got it. Roman tells Elias to look at Curtis Axel and he tells Elias he hopes he can sing with a neck brace because after tonight, he might be wearing one.

As Roman goes up the ramp, Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring for his match. But first… We go to commercial!

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

They lock up and Rollins with a waist lock but Cesaro with a wrist lock. Rollins with a reversal into a hammer lock. Cesaro with a reversal. Rollins with another reversal and Cesaro with kicks and punches. Rollins with a cross body and punches to Cesaro. Rollins with punches and kicks in the corner. Rollins with chops and Cesaro backs Rollins into the ropes to stop the onslaught. Rollins with punches but Cesaro with a kick and then he drops Rollins on the top rope and Seth falls to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and Cesaro with an abdominal stretch and he follows with a knee for a near fall. Cesaro with knees to the ribs. Cesaro puts Seth on the turnbuckles and he sets for a gutwrench superplex but Rollins blocks it and he connects with elbows to the thigh and punches. Rollins knocks Cesaro to the mat and Rollins goes for a cross body but Cesaro catches Rolilns and hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall.

Cesaro with another near fall. Cesaro pulls Rollins from the ropes and he gets a near fall. Rollins goes for a suplex but Cesaro blocks it and Cesaro with a belly-to-back suplex. Cesaro goes for an abdominal stretch but Rollins blocks it and applies one of his own for a moment but Cesaro escapes. Rollins with an elbow and boot to Cesaro and then he hits the Blockbuster but Rollins cannot capitalize.

Rollins with forearms and chops followed by a thrust kick. Cesaro sends Rollins over the top rope and Rollins lands on the apron. Rollins with a leg drop to the back of the neck and Cesaro goes to the floor. Rollins with a suicide dive but the impact sends both to the floor as we go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. We see Cesaro running Rollins chest first into the ring post. Cesaro tries to Irish whip Rollins into the corner where the referee is standing. Rollins stops short and Cesaro with a thumb to the eye and an inside cradle for a near fall. Cesaro with a Giant Swing and then he applies the Sharpshooter. Rollins gets to the ropes and Cesaro releases the hold. Cesaro with punches and then he sets for the Gotch Style Neutralizer but Rollins with a back body drop. Cesaro holds on for a sunset flip and Rollins rolls through and hits a super kick for a near fall.

Cesaro with European uppercuts. Rollins with a backslide for a near fall. and then Rollins with a super kick to counter a springboard European uppercut and then Rollins with the V Trigger and the three count.

Winner: Seth Rollins

After the match, Seth Rollins is asked if the Shield are going in different directions because Roman has his own match tonight and Dean is not on Raw tonight. Seth says he is riding solo because Dean is on his honeymoon. Seth says he should check on him and see if he fell off the side of the earth. Seth asks if they put it all on Renee’s credit cards. Roman being Intercontinental Champion will only bring them closer. Seth says that since Dean and Sheamus will be back next week, why not invoke the rematch clause. They will burn the Bar down and prove that the Shield is stronger than ever and they will all be champions.

– Michael Cole talks about the Zo Train and we see what happened on 205 Live and Drew Gulak’s dance moves.

Backstage:

Kurt Angle is in the locker room with some cruiserweights. Swann says that the Zo Train is going off the tracks and Kurt wants to know what a Zo Train is. Cedric says they want to get a shot at Enzo. Kurt says that Enzo may have the title, but he does not call the shots. It is time to figure out who faces Enzo and we will know in three weeks. This week, there is a Fatal Four Way Match and there will be another one next week. Then the winners will meet to see who faces Enzo.

– Samoa Joe walks in the back as we go to commercial.

Samoa Joe vs. Titus O’Neil (with Apollo Crews)

Titus charges at Joe as the bell rings and he connects with punches but Joe with head butts and he goes for the Kokina Clutch but Titus backs Joe into the corner. Titus with punches and knees. Joe sends Titus into the corner and then connects with an elbow and enzuigiri. Joe with kicks and punches followed by a slap. Titus slaps back. They go back and forth. Joe with punches but Titus with punches in the corner. Titus with a boot and he gets a near fall.

Titus slaps Joe and tells him that he cannot bully him. Titus is pulled out of the corner and Joe with a punch and elbows to the head and he applies the Kokina Clutch and Titus taps out.

Winner: Samoa Joe

After the match, Joe and Crews have some words and Crews avoids a punch and punches Joe. Joe avoids an enzuigiri and applies the Kokina Clutch on Crews before leaving the ring. We go to commercial.

– We are back with a look at the match that was supposed to give us a number one contender for Alexa Bliss, only to be interrupted by Paige, Sonya Devile, and Mandy Rose.

Alexa Bliss has joined the announcers for the next match, but…

In the Arena:

Mickie James and Bayley do not join Sasha in the ring and Alexa figure that Mickie is napping and Bayley is busy hugging people.

Paige says hi to Sasha and she says considering what they did to her, she looks surprisingly good. She asks Sasha where are her friends. Paige asks Sonya and Mandy what happened to Mickie and Bayley.

We see Mickie in the back holding her ankle. We then cut to Bayley and she is holding her neck.

Paige says that makes this a handicap match. Paige says she has been hounded on social media, the supermarket, and the airport to explain her actions. A year ago, she was the woman to stick it in the ground and erase the word diva from the WWE dictionary. She was the matriarch of the WWE Revolution. Last week, she was making a statement to make a statement about who she is.

Paige says their group is Absolution. You have Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.

Mandy says others may have forgotten. Before there was a boss or the Four Horsewomen, or a Goddess, or an Empress, there was Paige. They didn’t forget.

Sonya says every woman has pushed the competition and they have pushed the envelope. Every woman has raised the game. The fact is that no one and nothing would have been raised if it wasn’t for Paige. That is why they pledge their allegiance to Paige. Absolution will turn into a different revolution.

Paige asks if you are going to end up the same way as her friends or will you pledge your allegiance? She tells Sasha to make her decision.

Sasha looks around as they stare her down. Sasha knocks Paige off the apron but Deville and Rose beat her down. Paige returns to the ring and Sasha tries to fight back but they triple team her. Paige tells Sonya to show what she can do. Sonya drops Sasha with a big kick. Mandy grabs Sasha next and drops her with a facebuster. Sonya and Mandy hold Sasha while Paige talks trash. Paige grabs her and hits the RamPaige. Absolution stands tall as Paige’s music hits and some fans boo.

Bray Wyatt shows up on the TitanTron and he is here.

In the Arena:

We are back and Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring.

Bray says he never had a childhood. He never celebrated holidays. He never carved a turkey and he never cared. You care and you carve just like they want you to. Bray says this might be a little hard for you to understand. Your world exists in the confines of a cardboard box. They tell you what to buy and who to love. They tell you who to be. He says that it is pathetic. Bray says he tries and he tries so hard but you never listen when he tries to show you the way.

Your ignorance and suffering bring joy to him. Now his eyes are wide open. He says he can finally see you for who you truly are. None of you are alive. You’re all dead.

Bray laughs and he asks if you can feel it because you are all dead.

Bray Wyatt vs. Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

We are back and Bray with a head butt as the match is joined in progress. Bray with a cravate. Matt with punches but Bray with a flying cross body. Bray with a punch. Bray with a splash into the corner and he sends Matt to the mat. Bray misses a back senton when Matt moves. Matt with punches and forearms. Bray with an Irish whip but he misses a splash. Matt with clotheslines in the corner followed by a running bulldog.

Matt goes to the turnbuckles and ropes for an elbow but Bray blocks it. Matt avoids a uranage and Matt hits a Side Effect for a near fall. Matt with a kick and he goes for the Twist of Fate but Bray sends Matt into the corner. Matt with an elbow and he sends Bray to the mat. Matt goes up top and misses a moonsault. Bray does his crab walk in the corner and then he hits Sister Abigail for the three count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

After the match, Wyatt stands tall as his music hits. Wyatt tells us to follow the buzzards and then leaves the ring. Matt sits up in the corner as fans chant his name. Matt says “delete!” and does the motion a few times as fans start chanting “delete!” a few times. Matt does the motion over and over again as Cole wonders if we’re witnessing a Hardy breakdown.

– Still to come, Elias vs. Reigns with the title on the line. Back to commercial.

– We are back and Michael Cole brings up the issues between Kane and Braun Strowman. We see what happened last week when Kane attacked Braun from behind.

Backstage:

Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan are in the back and Jordan says he was looking forward to his rematch against Braun tonight. Kurt asks Jason if he is okay after the way his knee buckled last week. Jason says he is fine and he asks if he has to face the man who took out Braun. That will silence the doubters. Kurt asks if he is 100 percent and Jason says he is okay so the match is on.

Akira Tozawa vs. Rich Swann vs. Ariya Daivari vs. Noam Dar in a Qualifying Match

Daivari kicks Tozawa while Dar deals with Swann. Daivari helps Dar but Tozawa tries to stop the attack on Swann. Dar and Daivari with chops to Tozawa. Tozawa sends Dar and Daivari to the floor. Tozawa rolls through on a sunset flip but misses a kick. Tozawa with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Swann with a rollup for a near fall. Swann with a flip plancha onto everyone and he catches Tozawa in the face with his knee.

Dar goes to the floor on the other side of the ring and Swann with chops. Swann sends Dar back into the ring and he kicks Dar. Swann with another chop and Daivari sends Tozawa into the ringside barrier. Swann with a drop kick to Dar. Daivari blocks Rolling Thunder and hits a spinebuster for a near fall. Dar with a forearm to Tozawa followed by kicks. Daivari with kicks. Dar kicks Tozawa and then they Irish whip him into the turnbuckles. Daivari with a forearm to knock Swann off the apron. Swann blocks a suplex from Daivari on the floor while Dar punches Tozawa. Dar goes to the floor and they hit a double suplex on Swann.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Dar and Daivari work over Tozawa. Tozawa takes care of Daivari but Dar with a punch. Dar with a sunset flip and Tozawa rolls through and kicks Dar and hits a back senton on Daivari. Dar crotches Tozawa but Tozawa knocks Dar to the mat. Daivari climbs the turnbuckles and Daivari is knocked to the mat. Dar and Daivari set for a double superplex but Swann comes under and turns it into a Tower of Doom.

Swann gets a near fall on Tozawa. Swann pulls Daivari into position but Daivari grabs the ankle. Swann with a round kick to the head and Dar stops Swann on the turnbuckles. Tozawa knocks Dar off the apron and he sets for the suicide dive head butt. Daivari goes up top and hits the frog splash for a near fall on Swann. Tozawa with a Shining Wizard on Daivari. Tozawa goes up top and hits the back senton on Daivari but Dar throws Tozawa into the ring post and he covers Daivari but Swann breaks it up. Dar sends Swann to the floor and he gets a rollup on Tozawa for a near fall.

Dar with a running drop kick but Swann pulls Tozawa to the floor so no one else is in the ring with Dar. Swann with a round kick to the head and Swann goes up top for the Phoenix Splash and the three count.

Winner: Rich Swann

– Elias walks in the back as we go to commercial.

– Back from another break and Elias is out in the ring for a song about his friend The Miz and The Miztourage Blues. He introduces Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas for another song as they sing the harmonicas. Elias gives them props and asks the fans to give it up. Elias keeps playing but a “we want Roman” chant starts. Some fans respond with a “Roman sucks” chants. Elias says no one wants Roman as much as he does right now. Elias asks everyone to take a seat because they will tune into his next performance as Reigns’ title walks with Elias. The music interrupts and out comes WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Elias vs. Roman Reigns

Reigns takes his time going to the ring as his music plays. Reigns hits the ring and raises the title to some cheers. We get formal ring introductions from JoJo.

They lock up and go to a stalemate. They lock up again and Reigns with a side head lock. Roman with a shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall. They lock up and Roman with a side head lock but Elias with shoulders. Roman with uppercuts and a punch. Elias with a knee to the midsection and he gets a near fall. Elias sends Roman shoulder first into the ring post and he gets a near fall.

Roman with punches but Elias with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Elias with a reverse chin lock and he adds pressure to the hold. Roman backs Elias into the corner and then hits a few clotheslines followed by a flying clothesline. Roman with Neverending Story and he knocks Bo off the apron when he tries to distract him. Curtis distracts Roman on the other side of the ring and that allows Elias to hit a clothesline for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Elias with a reverse chin lock on Roman. Roman gets back to his feet and Roman with a back elbow and boot to Elias. Elias with a side head lock but Roman sends Elias to the floor. Roman with a broad jump drop kick and then he sends Elias back into the ring. Roman with a Superman punch to Bo and then Curtis backs away from Roman. Roman turns away and then he spears Curtis.

Elias sends Roman into the ring post and ringside barrier. Elias goes up top and he hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Roman escapes a suplex attempt and gets Elias up on his shoulders. Elias gets to his feet and he sends Roman into the turnbuckles. Elias gets Roman on his shoulders and then hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Elias tries to pick up Roman but he cannot get him up. Elias tries for a second time and is unsuccessful. Roman with an inside cradle for a near fall. Elias with a forearm but Roman with a Superman punch but Elias kicks out.

Roman looks around and he sets for the spear and does the growl but Elias with a knee. Roman with a spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

After the match, Reigns stands tall with the title as his music hits. We go to replays. Reigns leaves the ring and goes to the ramp but Samoa Joe attacks from behind and drops him into the Coquina Clutch. An intense Joe goes wild as referees and officials try to break the hold. Joe finally breaks it but rants about how he’s coming for Reigns. Joe goes back to Reigns for more until officials pull him away again.

– Still to come, Jordan vs. Kane. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see what just happened with Joe and Reigns.

Asuka vs. Dana Brooke

We go to the ring and out comes the undefeated Asuka. Dana Brooke is out next for a rematch from last week. Dana says that Asuka likes to say that nobody is ready for Asuka. She is wrong. She has watched their match from last week and she found a weakness. Asuka is a slow starter and she will be all over her.

Dana charges at Asuka and Asuka catches Dana in a cross arm breaker. Dana taps out and this one is over in about 2 seconds!

Winner: Asuka

After the match, Paige, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville make their way to the ring and they circle her on three sides. Asuka waits for them to make their move and Paige hits the mat and they back away from the apron. Asuka smiles at them and Paige waves at her as Asuka leaves the ring. Back to commercial.

In the arena:

We are back and Jason Jordan has something to say before his match. He says there has been speculation about how injured his knee really is. Some think he is using it as an excuse to get out of his match with Braun Strowman. Jason says this couldn’t be any further from the truth. He says he is a professional athlete and he knows his body. He felt a pop in his knee last week and he knew he could not continue.

Thanks to the world class medical staff of WWE and rehab, his knee is at 100 percent. He is out here to do what Braun Strowman couldn’t do and that is take care of the Big Red Machine.

Jason Jordan vs. Kane

They lock up and Kane sends Jordan into the corner. Jordan with a waist lock and Kane pushes him away. Jordan with a forearm off the turnbuckles and then he runs Kane into the corner. Jordan with a running shoulder into the corner and then he goes for an overhead belly-to-belly suplex but Kane blocks it and hits an uppercut. Kane sends Jordan over the top rope to the floor and he lands awkwardly on his leg and he holds his knee.

The referee makes his count and Jordan is counted out.

Winner: Kane (by count out)

After the match, Jordan punches Kane and then he connects with a boot. Kane sends Jordan over the top rope again. Kane with a clothesline on the floor. Kane send Jordan back into the ring. Kane with a forearm to the back of the knee and then he sends Jordan’s knee into the mat.

Finn Balor’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring, eventually and Kane watches Balor do his full entrance instead of finishing off Jordan. We go to commercial.

Kane vs. Finn Balor

Back from the break and Cole says Kurt Angle made this match official during the commercial.

The bell rings and they go at it. Balor looks to take control but Kane drops him. Kane whips Balor hard into the corner and he goes down. Fans chant for Balor as Kane works him over corner to corner. Kane catches Balor with a sideslam for a 2 count.

Balor ends up coming back and dropkicking Kane through the ropes to the floor. Balor follows and sends Kane back into the barrier. Balor runs and dropkicks Kane into the barrier again. Kane grabs a steel chair and nails Balor with it for the disqualification.

Winner by DQ: Finn Balor

After the bell, Kane hits Balor with the chair some more. Kane rolls Balor into the ring and smacks him over the back with the chair again. Some fans chant for one more chair shot and Kane gives it to them. Kane with another shot before placing the chair over Balor’s face and neck. The music hits before Kane can do more damage and out comes Braun Strowman to a pop. Braun hits the ring and Kane hits him with the chair but it does nothing. Kane can’t believe it as Braun stares Kane down and backs him into the corner slowly. Braun kicks the chair into Kane and rocks him wit a right hand. Braun unloads with headbutts in the corner. Braun with a running splash from across the ring, flattening Kane in the corner. Braun with a big boot that sends Kane to the apron. Kane rolls to the floor and Braun follows. Braun grabs half of the steel steps and drives them into Kane, dropping him. Braun grabs the bottom part of the steps and puts them in the ring.

Braun stalks Kane and slams him face-first into the other set of steps. Braun rolls Kane into the ring as fans chant for him. Braun grabs the chair and wacks Kane over the back with it as he tries to get up. Kane moans in pain as Braun stands over him. Braun stops Kane from retreating and scoops him for a big slam on top of the steps, right in the middle of the ring. Fans chant for one more slam. Kane tries to roll out of the ring but Braun stops him again. Taking a move from Kane that he used in last week’s attack, Braun places the chair under Kane’s neck and drives it down into the steps. Kane grasps for air as Braun did last week. Braun brings Kane back to the steps and drives the chair into his neck again. Kane rolls out of the ring as a referee tries to check on him. Braun looks on as Kane struggles to get to his feet using the barrier. Kane escapes over the barrier and leaves through the crowd as we get a replay while Braun looks on from the ring. Braun’s music hits and he stands tall in the ring. Kane continues stumbling through the crowd while holding his throat. RAW goes off the air.
