– Dave Meltzer reported in the latest installment of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AJ Styles’ current deal with WWE is slated to expire early 2019.
It’s worth noting that Styles hinted in a recent interview that he may be retiring in a “couple of years.” Meltzer suggests that it’s very rare that WWE Superstars in a prime spot in the company just walk away, especially when the money is good. It’s very possible that WWE could offer him a lighter work schedule if that is something Styles is interested in when that time comes around.
