– This week’s WWE SmackDown, featuring Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn in the main event, drew 2.699 million viewers. This is up 16% from last week’s 2.320 million viewers, which was the lowest number going back to mid-June.
SmackDown also featured fallout from the “Under Siege” attack on Monday’s RAW, more Survivor Series build, AJ Styles vs. Sunil Singh and Sin Cara vs. WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin advertised ahead of time.
SmackDown was #2 in viewership for this week on cable, behind Hannity. SmackDown was #2 in the 18-49 demographic, behind American Horror Story. There was no competition from the NFL, NBA or MLB this week.
In comparison, Monday’s RAW drew 2.953 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.688 million viewers, besting SmackDown viewership by 9.4%.
– WWE just announced today that RAW General Manager Kurt Angle will be appearing at the RAW episode from Manchester, England on Monday, November 6th. Apparently Angle had not been scheduled for the show until this week. The dark main event advertised for that show is The Shield vs. The Bar and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in six-man action.
