It was reported a few weeks back that WWE has planted the seeds for a future match between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon that would presumably take place at SummerSlam. While that match in particular is not scheduled for SummerSlam, there is still the chance we may see Owens and McMahon clash before the year ends.
Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Sunday’s installment of Wrestling Observer Live that he doesn’t believe a singles match between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens will take place. Alvarez did speculate that he believes that they will do a Team Owens vs. Team Shane match at the Survivor Series pay-per-view event this year instead. Alvarez didn’t really collaborate much on who would be participants in the match, but we will keep you updated if we hear anything.
