– Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin made his return to the WWE ring on tonight’s SmackDown from Arkansas, teaming with Chad Gable to defeat The Ascension. This was Shelton’s first WWE match since early 2011. Here is video from the match.

– Next week’s WWE SmackDown from Sioux Falls will feature Randy Orton vs. Shinsuke Nakamura with the winner earning a title shot from WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

– SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated The New Day in a non-title match on tonight’s SmackDown and they now will get to choose the stipulation for the title rematch between the two teams. No word yet on when that match will take place or what stipulation The Usos will choose.
