It was previously reported via Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer that Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Braun Strowman would eventually be working a program with Brock Lesnar before next year’s WrestleMania 33 event.
In the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer discussed future plans for the WWE Universal Championship title and indicated that WWE may have changed their mind about giving Balor a shot at the title in a match against Lesnar. Meltzer said that he could not confirm exactly if they have nixed the plans for the Balor vs. Brock plans but the way they have been booking Balor as of late would indicate they have.
