Renee Young interviewed Kurt Angle and Jason Jordan after their huge announcement, and Angle talked about how he learned about Jordan being his son and how Jordan tracked his birth mother down.
Jordan says he hired a private investigator when he learned he was adopted, and found his birth mother who told him his father was Angle. He talked about how crazy it was that Angle of all people was his father, then praised him for his accomplishments. Renee asked if Jordan joining WWE RAW might lead to a push of some kind, but Jordan stopped her and said he earned his spot.
Angle then talked about finding out about Jordan and said the reason he was nervous about telling the fans was because he didn’t know how they would react. Angle said the WWE Universe could turn in a different direction, and might not have been as accepting as they were. He then talked about how he did talk to Jordan’s birth mother since learning about Jordan, and said he hoped to be a good influence on his son. Angle said he wanted to make sure all of his kids didn’t repeat his mistakes, and talked about the losses in his own life, and said he would be there for all of them. Angle finally said they would talk about this for a very long time, so he said he wanted to get to know his son now and Renee concluded the interview.
