WWE 205 Live Results – Jun 6, 2017

We start off with a look at what happened on Raw between TJ Perkins and Neville and what led to tonight’s main event for the Cruiserweight Title.

Noam Dar comes out and he says last week on 205 Live, Cedric Alexander called him a snake. To make things worse, he called Alicia Fox a black widow. Dar says he should be angry but he feels sorry for Cedric. Cedric is jealous, just like every guy here. Dar reminds everyone that Cedric and Alicia dated until Alicia left Cedric for the SuperNova. Dar says Alicia is at home recovering from a neck injury. Dar says that Alicia told him to tell Cedric to move on.

Match Number One: Noam Dar versus Cedric Alexander

They lock up and Cedric with a clean break. Dar with a wrist lock and Alexander with a reversal into a wrist lock but Dar gets to the ropes. They lock up and Dar backs Alexander into the corner. Dar with a side head lock and take down. Alexander with a head scissors and drop kick that sends Dar to the floor. Alexander follows and he punches Dar. Alexander with a chop but Dar with a head butt to the midsection. Alexander with a moonsault off the apron. Dar avoids Alexander but Alexander with an elbow. He goes to the turnbuckles and Dar kicks Alexander in the leg and he falls to the mat.

Dar gets a near fall. Dar with a punch to the back of the head and then he kicks the elbow. Dar punches Alexander and Dar with a snap mare and arm bar. Dar puts his knee on the arm to add extra pressure to the arm bar. Alexander with punches but Dar with a punch. Dar with a forearm in the corner but Alexander with a punch. Dar with a kick and he has a second kick blocked. Alexander with a back elbow. Alexander with a handspring round kick. Alexander goes to the apron for the springboard clothesline and he connects and gets a near fall.

Alexander picks up Dar but Dar with a kick to the leg to send Alexander to the mat. Alexander goes for a back slide but Dar escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Dar with a kick to get out of a head scissors attempt. Dar gets a near fall. Alexander with an inside cradle for a near fall. Alexander runs into a boot from Dar. Alexander hits Lumbar Check for the three count.

Winner: Cedric Alexander

After the match, Cedric tells Dar he is over this and he has moved on.

We take a look at TJ Perkins and his victory in the Cruiserweight Classic.

TJ is asked about his title match tonight. He wants to know if he is supposed to talk about a sob story, but he has been there and done that. He won it before for the people. Tonight, he is doing it for himself. This division was created for him. Neville brought him in for his Austin Aries problem and that was Neville’s biggest problem because he has a TJP problem now.

Match Number Two: Louie Valle versus Mustafa Ali

Ali with an arm bar into a wrist lock. Ali with a hammer lock but Valle with a reversal. Ali with a reversal into a snap mare. Ali with a wrist lock but Valle with a punch and wrist lock. Ali with a shoulder tackle and then he flips around before hitting a drop kick. Valle drops Ali on the top rope and the he connects with a chop to the chest for a near fall. Valle with a forearm in the corner. Ali with a forearm but Valle with a forearm and kick. Valle with an Irish whip but he misses a charge into the corner.

Ali with an enzuigiri on the apron followed by a rolling neck breaker. Ali goes up top and Drew Gulak comes out and start his protest. Valle with a rollup for a near fall and Ali gets the three count with a rollup of his own.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

After the match, Gulak is shocked at Ali’s win. Gulak points out that Ali won by staying grounded. Drew says he is so proud of Ali. If you follow him and stay grounded, you will find success. If you do not follow him, you will never reach your true potential. You have to learn to ignore them because they do not know what it is like to be a winner. They can change things if Ali joins his campaign.

Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa are talking and Titus O’Neil stops by and he wants to talk to Tozawa.

Titus tells Tozawa the Titus brand is looking to go international. He was talking to Apollo Crews and Crews says that he would be the perfect person to be in the Titus brand. He has the talent and the charisma. Titus says he hears money when he hears Tozawa. He tells Akira to talk to Crews about it and get back to him.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Neville is asked about whether he has a TJP Problem. Neville says that Perkins was a tool and a means to an end. He will finish him off tonight. The fact of the matter is that he is the same as all of these pretenders. He is not on the Neville Level.

Match Number Three: TJ Perkins versus Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Title

They lock up and Neville is pulled out of the corner by the referee. They lock up and Neville backs Perkins into the ropes and Neville with a clean break. They lockup and Neville goes for a waist lock but Perkins with a standing switch. Perkins with a take down but Neville slaps Perkins in the head. Perkins rolls on Neville’s back and he slaps Neville. They exchange strikes and Neville backs Perkins into the ropes. Neville with a side head lock take down.

Perkins backs Neville into the corner and Neville tosses Perkins across the ring by the hair. Perkins with an arm wringer and he takes Neville to the mat by the hair. Perkins with a wrist lock. Neville with a reversal and Perkins with a reversal of his own. Neville with a shoulder tackle. Perkins trips Neville with a cloverleaf but Neville gets to the ropes. Neville with a side head lock take down. Neville with a head scissors take down.

Perkins with a Tarantula in the ropes and Perkins releases the hold before the five count. Neville goes to the floor and Perkins follows but it was a trap and Neville sends Perkins into the ringside barrier. Neville sends Perkins into the ringside barrier a second time. Neville kicks Perkins in the back of the head. Perkins with a kick to Neville but Neville with a boot that sends Perkins to the floor. Neville drops Perkins onto the announce table.

Neville gets back into the ring and the referee starts his count. Perkins gets back in at nine. Neville presses his boot against Perkins’ head and he stomps on the head. Neville chokes Perkins and he stomps on the head before getting a near fall. Neville with a knee to the back and then he applies a sleeper. Neville with a slam and he methodically goes to the apron and he goes up top. Neville with a missile drop kick and then Neville goes up top again. Perkins tries to knock Neville off the turnbuckles but Neville sees it. Neville with a forearm. Perkins sends Neville over the top rope and he lands on his feet.

Perkins with a corkscrew pescado onto Neville. Neville gets back into the ring first but Perkins gets back in. Perkins with a jaw breaker and he hits a slingshot drop kick. Perkins with a double chicken wing Gutbuster for a near fall. Perkins goes for the Detonation Kick but Neville gets to the ropes. Neville with a back heel kick and he sends Perkins face first into the mat. `Neville with kicks and a flying boot to the temple for a near fall.

Neville kicks Perkins in the face and he taunts him. Neville with a face wash to Perkins as he yells at TJ for making him do that. Perkins with a dragon screw leg whip followed by a drop kick to the knee. Perkins runs into a super kick. Neville pulls Perkins into position for the Phoenix Splash but Perkins moves. Neville avoids the knee bar but Perkins locks in the knee bar. Neville tries to fight to the ropes but Perkins pulls him into the center of the ring. Neville goes for the Rings of Saturn but Perkins counters into a rollup for a near fall. Neville applies the Rings of Saturn and Perkins taps out.

Winner: Neville
