Impact Wrestling Paid People to Attend Recent Shows, Another Name Done with The Company

– Jessie Godderz is no longer working for Impact Wrestling and his profile has been removed from the roster page on the company’s website. Godderz worked for the promotion dating back to 2011.

While speaking to Scott Fishman of TV Insider last month, Godderz was asked about why he hasn’t been appearing on television for Impact and he confirmed that he was still under contract with the company.

“I just had a handful of other projects that took precedent. They were understanding with it. I’m still under contract right now. Other than Sonia and my CBS family at Big Brother, obviously I owe the world to Impact Wrestling for giving wrestlers chances to branch out. Everything is as planned and on schedule as of right now.”

It is very possible that he contract could have ran out over the past couple of weeks.

– According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact Wrestling paid people to attend their shows while they were taping in India.

The shows that were taped in India last week in a TV studio could hold up to 500 people. The story is that the company paid between 250 to 400 rupee ($3.80 and $7.60) for individuals to attend the show. The Observer claims that this is very common for television shows in India.

People in attendance were informed that the villains would come from the left side of the stage and the heroes to the right side, that way they would know who to cheer for and who to boo at.
