– While appearing on The Art of Wrestling podcast, Jeff Hardy revealed why he doesn’t do the shooting start press or 450 splash during his matches anymore.
“I don’t do [the shooting star press] anymore, even the 450 splash. I was talking to Fénix at the show tonight and he’s not doing the 450 anymore because he kind of over-rotated and bummed his shoulder out and that’s the reason I stopped doing the 450 because I over-rotated and jacked my shoulder up. I thought I broke my collarbone or something, but those days are over, so I’ll stick with the Swanton [Bomb].”
– Matt Hardy took to his Twitter account to claim that Anthem Sports is now holding his “BROKEN” gimmick hostage from the fans. He wrote:
Shows they DO NOT care about the fans. @EdNordholm wants to keep MY creation, the #BROKEN Universe, hostage from fans who wish to see it. https://t.co/AREDlSQ9Qn— The VESSEL of MMH (@MATTHARDYBRAND) May 7, 2017
As previously noted, WWE was trying to negotiate a deal with Anthem Sports to take ownership of the gimmick. As of last week, no deal between the two have been reached.
