Huge SPOILER For Smackdown and The U.S. Title

As seen at Sunday’s WWE Payback event, Chris Jericho defeated Kevin Owens to win the WWE United States Championship title.

Dave Meltzer discussed Jericho’s victory over Owens on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and talked about Jericho’s upcoming WWE schedule. Meltzer said that with Jericho’s Fozzy band kicking off it’s tour this week, Jericho will be dropping the title to AJ Styles on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and not the WWE Backlash event.
