WWE 205 Live Not Doing So Well on The Network

It’s been months now since 205 Live’s initial debut on the WWE Network and thing’s aren’t looking good for the brand.

Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a good percent of the fans are not sticking around after SmackDown Live to watch the 205 Live brand. Meltzer noted that this week there were a lot of negative chants on the show and at one point a “boring” chant broke out during the Perkins vs. Gallagher match.

Viewership on the WWE Network for the show is also down. It’s being said that more people watch NXT, which is a taped show, than they do 205 Live. Meltzer has been saying for several months now that the company needs to consider having 205 taped before SmackDown Live event starts. It will be interesting to see if they make the switch sometime in the future.
