– While speaking to CBS Sports, Shinsuke Nakamura was asked if he would rather be on RAW or the SmackDown brand.
He revealed that he would like to go to the SmackDown brand because there are a lot of dream matches he can do on that show.
“I want to be on Smackdown because it has AJ Styles, Randy Orton and John Cena — a lot of dream matches I can do. Also, Monday Night Raw has a lot of friends there [who previously wrestled in Japan] like Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, [Luke] Gallows and [Karl] Anderson, which would be much comfortable for me. But first I need to concentrate for TakeOver: Orlando now and Bobby Roode.”
– As of this writing, Samoa Joe does not have a match for Sunday’s WrestleMania event and most-likely won’t have one either. With twelve matches for the four-hour show and two-hour pre-show, the chances of him being tossed into a match last minute are very unlikely.
Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Samoa Joe will probably be involved in the Seth Rollins vs. Triple H match in some degree. The company is planning a feud between Rollins & Joe post-WrestleMania and they could do an angle on the show to further the build for their blowoff match later down the road.
