WWE NXT Results – Feb 8, 2017

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom Phillips, Percy Watson, and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One: Harv Sihra and Gurv Sihra versus Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe (with Nikki Cross and Eric Young)

Dain and Harv start things off and Dain sends Harv to the mat. Harv with a waist lock and Dain with a short arm clothesline. Dain sends Harv into his corner so Gurv can tag in. Gurv with a kick and he is not sure if he made the right decision. Gurv with a forearm and Dain sends Gurv into the corner. Dain misses a splash but he hits a running body block. Dain goes for a slam and Gurv escapes. Harv tags in and they double team Dain. They kick Dain and take too long to set up a double super kick and Dain with a double clothesline followed by Wasteland and a back senton. Dain power bombs Harv onto Gurv and then Dain hits an elbow drop.

Dain gets Harv on his shoulders and hits The Ulster Plantationr for the three count.

Winners: Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe

After the match, Nikki takes the mic and she screams for Asuka.

Eric says that people eventually find their place, but if you cannot find it, they will put you in your place. Eric says he humbled Tye Dillinger at Takeover. He does not ask, he tells. He says that Tye belongs with them.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Billie Kay (with Peyton Royce) versus Liv Morgan

They lock up and Billie pulls the hair to send Liv into the corner and Billie with a clean break and then she tries for a punch but misses. Liv with a side head lock. Liv does some running on Billie’s back when Billie drops down. Liv rolls Billie around the ring and gets a series of near falls. Billie with a hot shot and Sole Food for a near fall. Billie kicks Liv in the corner. Liv with a rollup out of the corner for a near fall. Billie with a clothesline for a near fall.

Billie kicks Liv and hits a suplex for a near fall. Billie with an arm bar and chin lock. Billie continues to work on the neck. Liv tries to power out of the hold but Billie with elbows. Billie with an Irish whip but Billie runs into a boot. Liv with a head scissors. Billie holds on to the ropes and Peyton gets on the apron. The referee warns Peyton and then Liv goes for an O’Connor Roll and Billie knocks Peyton off the apron. Liv bridges back and gets the three count.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Tye Dillinger is in the back and he is asked about Eric Young’s statements earlier in the night. Tye says he heard Eric. He lost at Takeover and it was a numbers game. He will not join Sanity. Tye starts to talk about the Royal Rumble, but Sanity attacks and they bring Tye into the arena and ringside area.

Dillinger is thrown into the ring and he tries to fight off Wolfe and Young but Dain hits a running cross body to stop Tye.

Roderick Strong and No Way Jose make their way to the ring and they take care of Young and Wolfe. Strong with a jumping knee to Dain followed by a clothesline from Jose and a super kick from Dillinger to send Dain to the floor.

William Regal announces that the United Kingdom Title will be defended next week. Tyler Bate will face Trent Seven.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay storm into the office and complain about what Liv did. They demand a match against Liv Morgan next week. William says he has a wonderful idea. Billie and Peyton will face Liv Morgan and a partner of her choosing.

Billie and Peyton laugh and say in unison that Liv has no friends.

We get an update on Shinsuke Nakamura and we are told that he will not need surgery.

Match Number Three: Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic versus Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

Wilder and Knight start things off and Wilder with a side head lock. Tucker picks Dash up but Dash holds on to the side head lock. Wilder goes for a shoulder tackle and Knight does not move. It does not work the second or third time either. Knight with a slam and a bear hug. Otis tags in and Knight tosses Wilder to Otis and Otis puts Wilder in a bear hug. Wilder gets out of the hold by biting the face and then he punches Otis. Dawson tags in and he punches Otis. Dawson with a forearm and jabs followed by a punch. Dawson with a punch and he tags in Wilder. Dawson gets Wilder up for a leg drop on Otis for a near fall.

Wilder punches Otis in the corner and Dawson joins in from the apron after tagging in. Dawson with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Dawson with a reverse chin lock. Otis with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down. Wilder and Knight make the tags and Tucker with running shoulder tackles followed by a splash into the corner on Wilder and a drop kick to Dawson. Dawson makes the blind tag and Tucker with a hip toss to Wilder and a Thesz Press to Dawson. Otis is pulled off the apron and then Tucker chases Dawson around the ring. They get back in the ring and Dawson with a DDT for the three count.

Winners: Scott Dawson and Tucker Knight

After the match, Wilder says it seems all of the smart people in NXT have forgotten that the Revival are the greatest tag team in the world today. Luckily not all of you are morons because they won Tag Team of the Year.

Scott tells everyone to relax because they did not say everyone was smart. DIY should never have been tag team champions. At Takeover, they got demolished by the Authors of Pain. Scott tells the Authors of Pain they are the MVP of NXT and the best tag team on the planet. They have carried the tag team division on their backs around the world. Dawson says at Takeover Orlando, you will be a footnote to the Revival.

Scott says Top Guys Out, but . . .

The music for the Authors of Pain plays and they make their way to the ring.

The Revival leave the ring and they say it is nothing personal.

The Authors of Pain pose on the ramp and they are attacked from behind by Dawson and Wilder. Scott and Dash head to the back before Akam and Rezar can get back up.

We go to commercial.

We take a look at Tyler Bate, who will be defending the UK title next week against Trent Seven. We see the video that aired during the UK Championship Tournament.

Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring for the first time as NXT World Champion.

Bobby says he is not the kind of guy to say I Told you so . . . Bobby laughs and he says he is that guy. Bobby shows the title belt and he says I Told You So. From the moment he walked down this ramp, he told everybody that Bobby Roode was on a completely different level. Night after night, match after match, Takeover after Takeover, he proved just that.

Shinsuke Nakamura, a man who ran roughshod for a decade (that is ten years) in Japan. Then for a year, he beat everybody. He beat Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and even Samoa Joe. He beat every single man he got in the ring with . . . except him. Nakamura hit him with everything he had in San Antonio. Nakamura said he would kick his head off, but it is still attached. Nakamura hit him with the deadly Kinshasa right in the face, and he did not get the job done.

Bobby says as he held that championship over his head after he beat and embarrassed Nakamura, that was the single greatest moment in NXT history. Why? Because you have a real champion. A man who looks like a champion, who walks like a champion, who talks like a champion. He is a champion. He is THE champion. Now every ad, billboard, television commercial, and city they travel to, it is no longer WE ARE NXT because this is MY NXT.

This NXT is going to be simply . . . GLORIOUS!!!

We see the Trent Seven video package that aired during the UK Tournament.

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Tye Dillinger, Roderick Strong, and No Way Jose versus Eric Young, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe (with Nikki Cross)

Strong, Dillinger, and Jose attack Sanity on their way to the ring and then Strong, Dillinger, and Jose return to the ring as we go to commercial.

The match is joined in progress and Dillinger with a series of back elbows and Sanity discusses strategy on the floor. The referee starts his count and Dillinger brings Wolfe into teh ring. Jose tags in and he applies a wrist lock. Wolfe grabs Jose by the beard and then Jose kicks Wolfe and hits an arm drag and hip toss. Jose with a flap jack and he gets a near fall. Wolfe with a head butt and he tags in Young. Eric with a forearm to the back and he tries to send Jose into the corner but Jose blocks it and he chops Young. Jose with an Irish whip and back body drop for a near fall.

Strong tags in and he kicks Young and chops him. Strong is run into the corner and Wolfe tags in and he punches Strong and then kicks Roderick. Strong with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Dillinger tags in and he chops Wolfe. Dillinger goes to the corner and he punches Wolfe. Young tries to interfere and Dillinger stops him but Wolfe with a boot and Dain tags in and kicks Dillinger and connects with a head butt.

Dain with crossfaces to Dillinger. Wolfe tags in and they send Dillinger into the corner. Dain with a shoulder into the corner and Wolfe adds more damage and gets a near fall. Dillinger with a belly-to-back suplex and both men are down. Strong tags in and he kicks Dain off the apron and hits a clothesline on Wolfe. Strong with kicks to Wolfe but Wolfe escapes a suplex. Strong wtih a back breaker but Young tags in. Strong with a drop kick and a running knee into the corner. Strong with a running gourdbuster. Dain trips Strong and then Dillinger hits the Tye Breaker on Young. Cross comes off the turnbuckles and Dillinger catches her but Cross with a rana to send them to the floor.

Dain with a running body block and Young gets the three count.

Winners: Eric Young, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe

We go to credits.
