WWE RAW RESULTS – DEC. 5, 2016

WWE RAW Opener:

We start off with a look back at previous episodes of Raw when Kevin Owens faced Seth Rollins and had help from Chris Jericho. Then we see tension between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens while Roman Reigns found a way to get a title match at Roadblock.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and he is going to talk to the people of Austin.

Seth says something has been bubbling under the surface for the last few months. Seth says he wants Triple H. He says it needed to be said. Seth said he made some choices. He put together the Shield and they changed the face of WWE forever. When the time was right, he had to dismantle the Shield. He learned it is not about your choices, but the consequences.

Triple H bet against Seth Rollins and annointed Kevin Owens as his golden boy. After he pedigreed Chris Jericho on the roof of a car it was a message to Triple H. Seth says he would love to call out Triple H right now, but we know that is not how you do it. He says he gets to Triple H by taking the Universal Title from Kevin Owens. He cannot beat Kevin Owens while Chris Jericho is still a part of the equation. Seth says he has to remove that piece of the puzzle. We saw that without Chris Jericho, the Kevin Owens Show was not ready for prime time.

Kevin Owens’ music plays and he makes his way to the stage.

Seth says he was looking for Kevin. He wants to know how is Chris Jericho and how is your friendship.

Kevin says it is rude to interrupt people. He says he knows what Seth is trying to do. You pedigreed him on a car. You ask about their friendship because they had a fight. Kevin says it is funny to him that best friends fight, but you wouldn’t know because you have no friends. You stabbed your Shield brothers in the back the first time you had the chance. Kevin says best friends fight and best friends make up.

Seth asks if Chris is answering Kevin’s calls and texts.

Kevin says they are both very busy people. Chris was recuperating from Seth’s heinous attack. Kevin says he was busy getting gifts for his best friend. Kevin says he got three gifts for Chris.

Seth says he hopes that is enough to compensate for Chris helping you to keep the title.

Kevin says he is tired of hearing this. He says he is a fighting champion. Kevin says he lost to Roman because of Seth and the thought of what Seth did to his best friend.

Seth tells Kevin to put the title on the line tonight.

Kevin asks if everyone would like to see that but it is not happening. He beat Seth two weeks ago. Kevin says he has a match against Sami Zayn thanks to Mick Foley. He is defending the title at Roadblock against Roman Reigns.

Kevin says he secured a few matches for Chris. He says that Chris will get a shot to become the United States champion tonight when he faces Roman Reigns. At Roadblock, Seth will be facing Chris Jericho. Kevin says the third gift is a match that Seth is about to have and he will be facing… The Big Show! We go to commercial.

The Big Show vs. Seth Rollins

Seth and Show go face to upper chest and Show pushes Rollins to the mat. Show misses a chop and Rollins punches Show until show pushes him down. Rollins with a kick but Show with a shoulder tackle. Show with a chop to Rollins and Seth goes down to the mat. Show with a hard Irish whip.

Show with a chop. Show with a biel. Show with an Irish whip and a running hip strike in the corner but Rollins with a drop kick to the knee and Show goes to the floor. Rollins goes for a suicide dive but Show catches Rollins and hot shots him on the ringside barrier.

Show sends Rollins back into the ring. Show sets for a choke slam but Rollins with kicks to the knee. Rollins with a DDT and both men are down. Rollins gets a near fall and he is sent to the floor when Show kicks out. Show brings Rollins back onto the apron but Rollins with a kick and a springboard knee to the temple. Rollins with a second springboard knee to the temple. Rollins goes up top and he hits a knee to the head.

Rollins sets for a Pedigree and Owens gets on the apron to distract the referee. Show with a back body drop and Owens tells Show to finish him. Show grabs Owens and brings him into the ring with a choke slam. Show leaves the ring and he goes to the back and Show is counted out.

Winner: Seth Rollins (by count out)

After the match, Rollins with a thrust kick and Pedigree to Owens.

– Michael talks about the debut of 205 Live and the victory by Rich Swann to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. He will wrestle tonight.

– We have a video package for Jack Gallagher. Jack says 205 Live allows him to come back from a failure in the Cruiserweight Classic. Jack says he does not feel pressure. He will wrestle to the best of his abilities and he is one of the best in the world. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and the announcers plug John Cena hosting SNL this Saturday.

Jack Gallagher vs. Ariya Daivari

Ariya Daivari waits in the ring as Jack Gallagher makes his way out. Ariya isn’t happy about the pre-match handshake. They lock up for this 205 Live rematch.

They lock up and Daivari with a wrist lock. Gallagher tries to get the positioning to reverse the hold and he takes Daivari to the mat. Gallagher with a hammer lock. Daivari with a side head lock. Gallagher with a walking handstand to get out of the hold. Daivari with a kick and Irish whip. Daivari with a snap mare and shoulder tackle. Gallagher takes Daivari to the mat. Daivari drops Gallagher on the top rope and punches him for a near fall. Daivari with punches and kicks to Gallagher for a near fall. Gallagher escapes a slam attempt and Gallagher with a few drop kicks.

Daivari with a punch to the midsection but Gallagher with a head butt to the chest. Gallagher with a running drop kick into the corner for the three count.

Winner: Jack Gallagher

After the match, Daivari shakes Gallagher’s hand but he kicks Gallagher and clips Gallagher.

– Titus O’Neil is walking in the back and he is giving out fliers. We go to commercial.

Backstage:

Owens confronts Foley backstage and says he shouldn’t be competing tonight. He says this wouldn’t be happening if Stephanie McMahon was here. Foley says she’s not here and the match against Sami Zayn is happening. Foley walks off. Owens sees Jericho. Jericho didn’t see what just happened to Owens because he just now arrived. Jericho is giving Owens the cold shoulder but Owens is really trying here. Jericho isn’t impressed with the two matches Owens got him either. Jericho says, “No, we are not good.” and walks off.

Backstage:

We go to Enzo Amore and Big Cass. They stop talking when Rusev and Lana come in arguing. Enzo says he doesn’t stand for a man talking to a woman like that. Cass tells Enzo this is none of his business. Enzo goes over any way and tells Rusev to calm down. Enzo and Rusev argue. Lana says Enzo is just trying to help. Rusev says she’s pathetic and maybe she deserves a pathetic man like Enzo. Lana reminds Rusev of her wedding ring but takes it off and throws it on the ground. Rusev walks off. Enzo tells Cass he’s got this, Cass leaves. Enzo picks up the ring and tells Lana she dropped it. Enzo asks Lana “how are you doin’?” and we go back to the arena.

Backstage:

We are back and Lana talks to Enzo about how Rusev does not appreciate her. Lana says that Rusev takes her for granted. Lana tells Enzo that Rusev needs to be taught a lesson. Maybe if Rusev saw another man appreciate her, he wouldn’t take her for granted. Lana invites Enzo to her hotel room.

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

The bell rings and they go at it. Sami drops Owens and he rolls to the floor. Sami sends Owens into the barrier and keeps control. Sami breaks the count but brings it back in. Owens with a kick to the face, sending Sami to the floor. Owens runs the ropes and leaps out onto Sami. Sami turns it back around and nails a dive on Owens. Back to commercial.

We are back and the chin lock master is showing his prowess with a reverse chin lock on Zayn. Zayn with punches but Owens with a forearm and chop to Zayn. Zayn with a clothesline. Owens with a kick but Zayn with another clothesline. Zayn with a forearm and Zayn with a Tornado DDT onto the apron. Owens goes to the floor and Zayn follows and hits the tornado DDT through the ring post. Zayn with a sleeper suplex for a near fall. Zayn puts Owens on the turnbuckles. Zayn goes for a superplex but Owens blocks it and hits a superplex of his own and both men are down. Owens gets a near fall.

Owens with a cannonball into the corner. Owens sets for a second one and hits it. Zayn stops Owens on a charge into the corner. Zayn goes for an exploder into the turnbuckles but Owens blocks it. Zayn blocks a package side slam. Zayn with a Tornado DDT but Owens with a super kick. Zayn with a sleeper suplex followed by an Exploder into the turnbuckles and a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall.

They go to the floor and Zayn with an exploder into the ringside barrier. They return to the ring and Owens with a pop up power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Kevin Owens

Backstage:

Chris Jericho is in the locker room and Roman Reigns enters. Roman asks if Jericho still has car paint on his forehead. Roman says Chris better get focused for his big match tonight. Chris says you have been getting lucky. Things have been handed to you. Your luck will run out tonight. Roman says this might be your lucky night or you might just be doing Kevin Owens’ dirty work again. We go to commercial.

– We are back with a look at last week’s second Women’s Title Match of the night.

Backstage:

Sasha Banks is in the interview area. She is asked about winning the title against Charlotte in her home town. Sasha says last week took everything out of her. It was another level. A Falls Count Anywhere Match. She made history again. Sasha is asked if she thought she would ever celebrate with Ric Flair. Sasha says Charlotte does not deserve her father’s legacy. She knows why Ric helped Charlotte in the past but she did dedicate that win to her father. Sasha is asked about Charlotte saying she is coming back for her crown. Sasha says at Roadblock, why not make history again. Sasha challenges Charlotte to an Iron Man Match. She will prove that the Iron Man is her.

– We see Charlotte telling her father off earlier in the year.

Rich Swann vs. TJ Perkins

We go to the ring and out comes new WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann. We go to commercial.

They lock up and Perkins with a side head lock. Perkins with a wrist lock and Swann with a reversal. Perkins with a reversal and head scissors take down and drop kick. They lock up again and Perkins with a shoulder tackle. Swann flips over Perkins and hits a drop kick. Swann mocks Perkins. Swann with an arm drag and then Swann uses the ropes on an arm drag. Swann with clotheslines and a back heel kick and a double stomp to the back for a near fall. Swann with a suplex and he gets a near fall.

Swann with a chop and Perkins chops back. Swann with a chop and Perkins with a European uppercut. Swann with a side Russian leg sweep and follows with Rolling Thunder for a near fall. Swann with a waist lock. Swann with a seated abdominal stretch. Swann puts his boot in Perkins’ back to add pressure to the surfboard. Perkins with a mule kick and he punches Swann. Perkins with a reverse atomic drop and clothesline. Perkins with punches. Perkins with a drop kick to the knee. Perkins puts Swann in the tree of woe and Perkins with a hesitation drop kick into the corner for a near fall.

Perkins goes for the knee bar but Swann with a rollup for a near fall. Perkins gets Swann on his shoulders but Swann escapes. Perkins with a drop toe hold that sends Swann into the ropes. Perkins with a springboard drop kick. Perkins goes for a springboard move but Swann with a spinning back heel kick for the three count.

Winner: Rich Swann

Bayley walks in the back as we go to commercial.

Bayley vs. Alicia Fox

Alicia with a Thesz Press and knees to Bayley. Alicia with a drop kick. Bayley goes to the apron and Alicia with shots to the back and she gets a near fall. Bayley runs Alicia into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Alicia sends Bayley into the turnbuckles. Alicia with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Alicia with a rear chin lock. Bayley counters a tilt-a-whirl back breaker attempt into a lateral press and she gets a near fall. Bayley with a flying clothesline and punches. Alicia with a boot but Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for the three count.

Winner: Bayley

Backstage:

Enzo and Colin are back together in the back and Cass warns Enzo about Lana. Enzo agrees that she is trouble. Enzo says he’s got this. Enzo gets a text from Lana and he shows the photo to Cass. Enzo leaves to get ready for their rendezvous.

Rusev walks up and asks Cass if he knows where Lana is. Rusev pushes Cass and Cass tells Rusev he made a mistake putting his hands on him. Rusev says he will go to Mick Foley for a match against Big Cass. We go to commercial.

We are back and Emmalina will appear next week.

The Tussle In Texas: Titus O’Neil vs. Mark Henry

Titus raises the “hook ’em horns” for the University of Texas at Austin but drops them and gets booed. Titus charges but Henry nails a World’s Strongest Slam for the squash win.

Winner: Mark Henry

After the match, Mark goes into the crowd to celebrate with a fan in a wheelchair.

Backstage:

Enzo is on the phone with his Uber driver and a limo arrives and it is Ric Flair. Enzo and Ric hug. Ric wooos while Enzo asks Ric How You Doin’. Enzo talks about how he is looking for his ride. Flair says he can fix that and he gives Enzo his limo. We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Kevin Owens stops Chris Jericho in the back as Chris goes to the ring. He says he is here to make sure there is no injustice in Chris’ match tonight. Chris tells Kevin to stop it. He is going out to win the United States Championship by himself. He tells Kevin to stay out of his business.

Roman Reigns vs. Chris Jericho in a United States Title Match

Jericho with punches and knees to Reigns followed by a head butt. Jericho with a forearm and Irish whip but Reigns with a clothesline out of the corner. Jericho kicks Reigns and goes for a bulldog but Reigns sends Jericho into the corner. Reigns with NeverEnding Story while Jericho is in the turnbuckles. Reigns with a belly-to-back set up into a modified uranage for a near fall. Reigns sets for the Superman punch but Jericho with a drop kick. Jericho clotheslines Reigns over the top rope and Jericho goes up top and hits a cross body onto Reigns. We go to commercial.

We are back and Jericho with forearms to the back of the head. Jericho with a reverse chin lock. Reigns with punches and Jericho with a drop kick. Jericho misses a splash to the back when Reigns moves. Reigns with two clotheslines followed by a flying clothesline. Reigns runs into a boot and Jericho goes to the turnbuckles but Reigns with an uppercut. Reigns is sent to the floor and Jericho with a springboard drop kick. Jericho misses a baseball slide and Reigns with a drive by. Reigns sets up for the Superman Punch and he misses. Jericho with an elbow and Lionsault for a near fall.

Reigns with a Samoan drop and a Superman Punch for a near fall. Reigns looks around and sets for the spear. Jericho with a kick and he tries for the Codebreaker but Reigns counters into a sit out power bomb and a near fall.

Reigns kicks Jericho in the corner and the referee warns Reigns. Reigns goes for a shoulder in the corner but Reigns hits the ring post. Jericho with a rollup for a near fall. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho but Roman escapes. Jericho with a rollup and a near afll. Jericho with the Walls of Jericho. Reigns gets to the ropes and Jericho thinks he won.

Owens super kicks Reigns and Jericho with a Codebreaker for a near fall. Owens argues with the referee and Jericho sees what is happening. Jericho yells at Owens and he says he does not need Owens. Jericho hits Owens and he tells him to leave.

Owens leaves and Jericho leap frogs a spear but the second time is the charm and Reigns gets the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Big Cass vs. Rusev

Rusev does not come out and Colin realizes that something is wrong. Colin takes a phone from a guy at the ring bell table. He calls Enzo, but Enzo does not pick up the phone.

We cut to Enzo walking up to Lana’s hotel room door. He ignores the call and goes to knock on the door but changes his mind. Enzo turns to leave but Lana opens the door wearing a robe and thanks him for coming. We go into the room where a camera is already set up. Lana hugs Enzo and Enzo says he is really uncomfortable now. Lana says she is uncomfrotable too and she wants to fix some drinks. Lana drops something for Enzo to get a good look. Lana takes off Enzo’s shirt and Enzo says he has to go. Lana want Enzo to take off his pants and he does not want to do it so Lana asks more forcefully and Enzo obliges. Lana says something in Russian and Enzo does not know what she said and she tells him it means ‘you are a fool’.

Lana calls for Rusev and Rusev mumbles and Enzo says he is not into that type of thing. Rusev throws Enzo onto the couch and he punches Enzo and throws him through a table. Enzo breaks a lamp over Enzo’s back. Rusev sends Enzo into the bar and Rusev punches Enzo. Rusev takes a vase and breaks it over Enzo’s head. Rusev drags Enzo into the hallway.

They return to the room and Lana puts the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Back to commercial.

– We are back and the New Day are at ringside to watch the next match since they will be wrestling the winner next week.

Anderson and Gallows vs. Cesaro and Sheamus in a Number One Contender Match

Cesaro and Anderson start things off and Anderson with a wrist lock and Cesaro kips up. Cesaro with a European uppercut followed by an Irish whip and European uppercut. Sheamus with a slingshot shoulder and a European uppercut. Gallows makes the tag and connects with a boot to the head. Sheamus with forearms and Gallows with an uppercut. Sheamus with a uranage back breaker and Gallows goes to the floor. Anderson and Gallows are too focused on The New Day and that allows Cesaro and Sheamus to take care of Gallows and Anderson. Sheamus with a European uppercut and Cesaro tags in.

Sheamus and Cesaro with a double suplex and Cesaro gets a near fall. We go to commercial.

We are back and Anderson with a reverse chin lock on Cesaro. Cesaro with elbows and Cesaro fights out of the corner. Anderson with a spinebuster when Cesaro tries to make the tag and Anderson gets a near fall. Gallows tags in and he knocks Sheamus off the apron. Anderson with a back breaker and Gallows with an elbow drop. Gallows gets a near fall. Anderson tags in and they set for Magic Killer but Sheamus helps and Cesaro with a tornado DDT. Anderson misses a splash and goes to the floor. Sheamus tags in and he connects with two double sledges and Sheamus sends Anderson to the apron for a series of forearms. Sheamus with a Finlay Slam to Gallows and then he gives one to Anderson and he lands on Gallows. Sheamus gets a near fall.

Sheamus goes for White Noise but Anderson with a sunset flip. Cesaro tags in and hits a cross body for a near fall. Cesaro with a sprinboard European uppercut. Everyone goes to the floor and The New Day get involved and the referee calls for the bell.

No Contest

After the match, Kofi goes for a plancha but Cesaro and Sheamus catch them and send Kofi into Xavier and Big E.

– Charlotte walks in the back as we go to commercial.

– We are back and after what happened in the last match, we will have a Triple Threat Match for the Tag titles.

In the Arena:

Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring. Charlotte says that it dawned on her last week that she made the biggest mistake in her life six months ago. She is ashamed for what she said and what she did. For those who forgot how much of a cold hearted bitch of a daughter she was, we go to the video tape (3rd time tonight).

Charlotte says when she lost her title, it was hard. The WWE means everything to her. The title means everything to her. She wants to explain while allowing the whats to continue. She says what was harder than losing the title was seeing her dad go into the ring and put her arms around Sasha Banks and raise her hand. It was like her dad was saying was the Women. Sasha was the athlete. Sasha was the women he hoped his daughter would be.

Charlotte says all she wants was her father’s approval. No one knows what it is like to be Ric Flair’s daughter. Is she good enough? She was in her home town and she watched her dad raise someone else’s hand. Charlotte says she failed as her daughter. Charlotte says it broke her heart. Charlotte says she has not seen her father in six months and she wanted him to come here to accept her apology.

Charlotte asks for her father to come out.

Charlotte says she is sorry. Ric does not look like he believes her.Charlotte hugs her father.

Charlotte slaps her father. She calls him a son of a bitch. She tells Ric she is his daughter and flesh and blood. Who is Sasha to dedicate her win to her father.

She steps back and decks him in the face. Flair falls back into the corner. Charlotte calls Flair a son of a b—h. Charlotte yells at him for endorsing Sasha last week. Sasha runs down to the ring but Charlotte beats her down. Charlotte ties Sasha in the ropes and kicks her out of the ring. Charlotte follows and destroys Sasha, tossing her into the barrier. Referees warn Charlotte but she picks Sasha up and launches her into the ring post. Flair looks on crying as Charlotte yells about being “THE” woman. Charlotte brings Sasha back into the ring and talks more trash as fans boo her. Charlotte mocks Flair for crying. Charlotte leaves Sasha at Flair’s feet and continues mocking them. She makes her exit and is all smiles as fans boo her. RAW goes off the air with Charlotte running her mouth.
