WWE has announced a “Wild Card Finals” theme for next week’s SmackDown from Chicago with SmackDown Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt defending against Heath Slater & Rhyno, American Alpha and The Usos in a Four Corners match.
It appears Heath Slater vs. Konnor vs. Tyler Breeze in a “Wild Card Triple Threat” to name new #1 contenders was nixed from tonight’s SmackDown.
As noted, next week’s SmackDown will also feature John Cena’s return, Alexa Bliss defending the SmackDown Women’s Title against Becky Lynch and WWE Champion AJ Styles defending against either Baron Corbin or Dolph Ziggler.
