As noted, WWE is looking at doing a champion vs. champion feud with WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens in December, with a potential match at the December 18th Roadblock pay-per-view in Pittsburgh from the PPG Paints Arena.
Local advertising in Pittsburgh is now listing Reigns vs. Owens for the Roadblock pay-per-view. We’ve also noted that this match is planned for December live events.
On a related note, the full name for December’s pay-per-view is “Roadblock: The End of The Line.”
It’s also worth noting that injured RAW Superstar Finn Balor is being advertised for Roadblock. He was expected to be out of action until at least WrestleMania 33 season. Others advertised include Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, RAW Tag Team Champions The New Day, RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Enzo Amore and Big Cass, plus more.
