WWE RAW RESULTS . OCTOBER 31, 2016

WWE RAW Opener:

We’re live from Hartford, CT as tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off with Bill Goldberg’s music playing to a pop. We see Goldberg backstage making his way out.

Bill mentions Brock Lesnar and he says three weeks…

Paul Heyman interrupts and makes his way to the stage and then he makes his way down the ring as he introduces himself. He says his client is not appreciative of you chanting the name Goldberg. He says on the record that you are pissing him off. Paul says he has all the respect in the world for Bill and his abilities. Paul says he is not a physical threat to Goldberg. That is why he is somewhat comfortable of his client’s request for him to step into the ring with Bill. Paul says you don’t think he came here tonight without significant back up… did you?

Paul says he is probably going to make Bill very happy now. He is probably going to make all of you happy now. He will probably make Goldberg’s family happy because he says his client is not only a beast, but an impatient beast. Paul points out that Bill is 1-0 with his client, what a streak. However, his client is known for ending streaks . . . just ask Undertaker.

Paul says his client is not going to wait until November 20th. He will not wait until Survivor Series. He wants to face Bill right here.

Paul gives to everyone the beast… the conqueror… Brock Lesnar!

Brock’s music plays and Paul laughs because Brock is not here.

Paul tells Bill and everyone ‘gotcha’. Paul says look at the look of disappointment on the face of Bill’s son. Paul says the look of disappointment on your son’s face will be nothing compared to when you are beaten, destroyed, and defeated by Brock Lesnar.

Rusev makes his way to the ring. Rusev asks Goldberg who does he think he is. Rusev says he knows his name as the crowd chants it. Rusev says he knows you call yourself Goldberg and you think you are a hero. Rusev says that Goldberg does not have it any more. He says you are no superhero because there is no such thing as a superhero. You haven’t been in this ring in a very long time. Rusev says he watched Bill throw people around back in WCW. You had two moves, the jackhammer and the spear. Those moves require strength and explosiveness. He says he does not think he has it. Do you have the heart to fight when you are beaten down to the ground.

Rusev says he does not think he has that either. It is easy to talk trash about people who are not here. Rusev tells everyone that Brock is not here. Rusev says he is here and he is the super athlete. Rusev says he sees Goldberg shaking and that means that he is afraid. Rusev says that when he sees someone afraid, Rusev CRUSH.

Rusev with a punch and Goldberg does not feel it. Rusev tries for another punch but Goldberg blocks it. Goldberg with a jackhammer and then he spears Heyman! The crowd pops as Goldberg hits the corner to pose.

Not one of you should have believed that he needed someone to help him win. That is psychology and mind games. Brian says he knew he would work on TJ’s sympathies. He brought up all of the favors that Brian did for him and he knew that TJ would crack. That was the opening he needed.

Tonight, TJ gets his rematch and you are all fired up and determined. He says he hopes TJ has a plan to win that title back because Brian says he has a plan to keep it.

Mick says he is proud of everyone, except… Chris Jericho and his best friend the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. While everything they did was ‘technically’ legal, it left a bad taste in Mick’s mouth.

Kevin Owens’ music plays and he walks to the ring with Chris Jericho.

Kevin asks Mick to elaborate about what left a bad taste in his mouth. Is it that Kevin is still the champion, not Mick’s number one draft pick. Maybe it is his best friend outsmarted you and everyone else to get in the cell? Kevin says he knows what it is. He says it is because Kevin was the one to make history because he STOLE THE SHOW in the main event. He was the first to successfully defend the Universal title in Hell in a Cell. Last night was the Kevin Owens Show whether you like it or not.

Chris mentions that Mick lost 4 Hell in a Cell Matches. Kevin points out that the last time Mick lost was…

Chris points out it was in Stinky Hartford, Connecticut.

Mick says that Kevin has the talent to win the match on his own. He walked out a winner, but he could have walked out a legend. Mick says that Kevin made a mockery of the cell.

Chris asks if Mick is jealous because Chris locked the cell and twirled it around his finger. Chris says it was the key of Jericho and he tells Mick to lock it in.

Mick says that you have to check your ego at the door. Mick says that Stephanie did not want both of them… just Kevin. Stephanie wanted to suspend Chris on the spot. Chris says that Roman knows what happens to people who insult him on Halloween… They don’t go on the list. Roman does not deserve to be on the list. No one tonight deserves to be on his list. Chris says that Roman is not worthy of being United States Champion. Chris says he is from Canada and he hates the United States but he would be a better US champion than Roman. Kevin says Roman is 100% correct. Chris says he could take that title from him if he wanted. Chris says Roman is probably too beaten up after that match last night so you probably cannot compete.

Roman says his body is beaten up, but he would never pass up the opportunity to shut Chris’ mouth. Mick makes that match official for tonight.
