WWE Officially Announces Lesnar vs. Goldberg For Survivor Series, WWE RAW Viewership

– WWE has just announced Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg in a WrestleMania XX rematch for the November 20th Survivor Series pay-per-view from Toronto.

As noted, Survivor Series will also feature RAW vs. SmackDown in three Traditional Elimination Matches with male Superstars, female Superstars and tag teams.

– Monday’s WWE RAW, featuring Brock Lesnar’s return to answer Bill Goldberg and the final RAW before Hell In a Cell, drew 2.819 million viewers. This is down 10% from last week’s 3.130 million viewers for the show that had Goldberg’s WWE return.

For this week’s show, the first hour drew 2.983 million viewers, the second hour drew 2.806 million viewers and the final hour drew 2.669 million viewers, down 10.5% from the first hour.

RAW was #3 on cable for the night in viewership, behind the NFL’s Monday Night Football and The O’Reilly Factor. RAW was #4 in the 18-49 demographic, behind the NFL, SportsCenter and Love & Hip-Hop.

The NFL drew just over 11 million viewers on cable last night.
