Weather Moves WWE NXT Live Events, This Week’s WWE SmackDown Viewership

– As noted, Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger is now official for Sunday’s WWE No Mercy pay-per-view. That match will actually take place on the Kickoff pre-show.

– Due to Hurricane Matthew making landfall later this week, Friday’s WWE NXT live event in Crystal River, Florida has been re-scheduled to Saturday, October 29th and Saturday’s live event in Ft. Pierce has been moved to October 14th.

– Last night’s live WWE SmackDown, featuring the final hype for Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view with John Cena, Dean Ambrose and WWE World Champion Dean Ambrose in the main event segment, drew 2.316 million viewers. This is down a bit from last week’s show, which drew 2.340 million viewers.

SmackDown was #9 for the night in viewership, behind the Vice Presidential debate with accompanying coverage and the MLB, and #7 in the 18-49 demographic after three weeks at #1.

In comparison, Monday’s RAW averaged 2.797 million viewers.
