– As noted, Vince McMahon was back at TV last week, and was also at this week’s television tapings. McMahon had surgery for an injured quad in mid-September. Dave Meltzer noted in The Wrestling Observer that McMahon has a big brace on his leg. While he wasn’t walking all that well, he is not using crutches.
– As noted, Hideo Itami suffered a neck injury in the main event of the October 1st WWE NXT live event in Largo, FL after taking a powerslam from Riddick Moss.

The injury is now confirmed, seen in the video above. Itami confirms that he will not be able to team with Kota Ibushi in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and says he isn’t sure about his status for “Takeover: Toronto” but he will be with NXT in Japan later this year.
For those who missed the injury, you can see it below. Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com notes that there is still no timetable for Itami’s return to the ring. He just returned this past June after being out for over a year with a shoulder injury.
