WWE has announced that Austin Aries and a mystery partner will be competing in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, which begins this week on NXT TV and will culminate at NXT Takeover Toronto.
According to PWInsider.com, former Ring of Honor Champion Roderick Strong is expected to be Austin Aries’ partner for the Classic. Both Aries and Strong have a very storied history together in Ring of Honor, as they held the ROH Tag Team Titles and were part of the Generation Next faction.
