Seth Rollins is shown walking toward the ring when he's interrupted by Foley and Stephanie who congratulate him on being in the main event of the first Raw PPV. Seth tells Stephanie to save it, that everything she says is a lie, and he's not her golden boy anymore. She bet on the wrong guy, and she needs to tell her husband he bet on the wrong guy.

- Hell in a Cell is advertised as the next Raw PPV, and we go right from that commercial into a recap of the entire history of the WWE Universal title (it's not a long history), and a video package highlighting the recent history between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins, beginning with Triple H choosing Owens over Rollins, and coming to a head through confrontations on Raw over the last couple of weeks, as well as Seth's growing paranoia about being replaced as the face of Raw.

WWE Universal Championship
Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

Seth Rollins is the first man to make his way out for the main event, getting a nice pop from the crowd on his way down the aisle.

Kevin Owens is out next, and he doesn't get quite as warm a reaction as Rollins, but there seem to be quite a few Owens supporters in attendance.

We get formal ring introductions from Jojo, and we're ready for the main event of the evening!

The bell rings and Owens bails out to the floor right off the bat. Owens baits Rollins out, and slides right in as Rollins heads to the floor. Rollins grabs Owens' foot and Owens kicks Rollins away. Owens heads out to the floor and he whips Rollins on the floor, but Rollins reverses it and Owens crashes into the barricade. Rollins brings things back into the ring and stomps away at Owens in the corner before Owens bails again. Rollins follows with a running knee from the apron to the floor before bringing things back into the ring for a near fall. Rollins continues to bring the fight with strikes before dropping Owens to a seated position and hitting a running knee to the chest. Rollins brings things into the corner and chops Owens' chest. Owens reverses a whip to the corner, but runs into a boot from Rollins. Rollins hits a crazy twisting blockbuster from the middle rope, but it's only enough for two.

Owens and Rollins trade positioning. Rollins springboards over Owens. Owens catches Rollins' leg and kicks the back of it before driving him to the mat for a two count. Rollins bails to the floor and Owens follows, running him right into the barricade, then driving him spine first into the ring post. Owens brings Rollins back into the ring and blasts him with a right hand to the face. Owens catches Rollins with another right hand, screaming that he's the man.

Owens sends Rollins into the ropes and catches Rollins with an elbow to the top of the head that's good for another two count. Owens pops up and kicks Rollins in the spine for a one count. Owens taunts Rollins, kicking at his surgically repaired knee. Owens wraps Rollins' leg around the rope and kicks away at it. Owens eats an elbow from Rollins, who begins to fight back with chops. Owens is able to backdrop Rollins out to the floor though, sending him crashing out and grabbing at his knee. Owens makes his way out to the apron, asking if Rollins is OK before dropping a huge elbow on the floor.

Rollins makes it back into the ring only to be taken over with a snap mare, and eat a senton from Owens for another near fall. Owens works right over into a rear chin lock, grinding down Rollins and screaming at him that he's going to fade into Black (then he asks if he gets it), and that Owens is the man. Rollins fights up to his feet and out of the hold, but Owens whips Rollins into the corner hard.

Owens picks up Rollins again and launches him across the ring once more. Owens continues screaming insults at Rollins, kicking his side, and whipping him into the corner again. Rollins catches himself this time and comes right back with a big lariat that turns Owens inside out.

Rollins and Owens trade forearms, and Rollins gets the upperhand with a chop and a series of forearms. Rollins ducks a couple of clotheslines and connects with a sling blade. Rollins charges Owens in the corner with a running forearm, then another, then he hits an STO into the middle turnbuckle before picking Owens up and dropping him down in a backbreaker. Rollins waits for Owens to stand before hitting the ropes and connecting with a running dropkick to send Owens crashing out of the ring. Rollins follows and sends Owens crashing into barricade after barricade. Rollins looks at the Spanish announcer's table, and begins dismantling it. Owens crawls back into the ring and shoulders Rollins when he re-enters. Rollins fights out of it and tries to suplex Owens, but he can't get him up. Owens reverses out, but eats a superkick while kneeling that puts him down for a two count.

Seth grabs Owens for the pedigree, but Owens fights it off. Seth leaps up in the corner, but Owens kicks out his leg, and Rollins drops down in the corner. Owens hits the cannonball, but it's still not enough for three.

Owens gets to his feet and pulls Rollins up. Owens teases the package piledriver, but Rollins fights out. Rollins hits a high knee, Owens hits a superkick, Rollins strikes back with a back kick and both men fall to the mat. Owens pulls himself up in the corner, and drives himself into the corner with a big clothesline. Rollins avoids a second cannonball attempt, but Owens avoids a knee from the top rope, connecting with the pumphandle neckbreaker for two.

Owens heads to the apron, then up to the top rope. Rollins grabs the ropes and crotches Owens. Rollins follows up after Owens, but Owens fights him off with a big head butt to the nose. Rollins comes right back, charging up the ropes, but Owens catches him and hits a gutbuster from the top rope. Owens heads right up to the top and hits a frog splash, but Rollins still will not stay down for three.

Rollins heads out to the floor, clutching his ribs. Owens fights him over to the announcers table, laying Rollins out across the table. Owens breaks the count, then takes apart the German announcer's table. Owens stands on the table, then crotch chops the ref and Rollins to huge cheers. Owens goes for the senton, but Rollins moves, and Owens crashes through the table to the floor.

Rollins sends Owens back into the ring and heads to the top for a huge flying knee from the top rope. Rollins goes right back to the top for a frog splash of his own, but Owens kicks out at two. Christ Jericho is out and causes the distraction, allowing Owens to slam Rollins to the mat with a crazy suplex, but it's still not enough to end the match. Rollins tosses Owens into Jericho to send him crashing from the mat and then he rolls him up for two. Rollins connects with a knee to Owens' face and does a crotch chop before connecting with the pedigree. Jericho puts Owens' foot on the rope and forces the count to stop. Rollins doesn't look too happy about it. Rollins chases Jericho around, then through the ring, and Owens stops him with a kick to the gut. Owens goes for the pop-up powerbomb, but ends up tossing Rollins into the ref. Rollins sends Jericho from the ring and counters the pop-up powerbomb with a pedigree out of the air, but the ref is still out. Rollins isn't too happy about it, going over to shake the ref, when he's attacked from behind by Jericho.

Jericho continues the assault until he's backdropped to the outside by Rollins. Rollins hits a suicide dive through the ropes to take out Jericho, then he does another on the other side of the ring to take out Owens. Rollins sends Owens back into the ring, then Stephanie comes out with another ref for the match. Seth waits for the ref, then turns around right into the arms of Kevin Owens for a pop-up powerbomb. Owens pins Rollins and this one is over.

Winner and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Kevin Owens

Jericho instructs the ref to hold both his and Owens' hands up on their way up the ramp.

The show ends with Jericho screaming about how great Kevin Owens is while Seth Rollins looks on in disbelief in the ring.
