– We noted earlier how WWE United States Champion Rusev appeared to be on a 20+ day honeymoon with Lana in East Africa. It was even reported via PWInsider that the two weren’t scheduled back until later this month but Rusev was swerving fans all along on social media as he made a surprise return on tonight’s RAW from Baltimore. Rusev ended up costing Roman Reigns the main event and WWE Universal Title shot at Clash of Champions, apparently setting up a Reigns vs. Rusev match for the US Title.
– New WWE World Champion AJ Styles will address the WWE Universe on tomorrow’s SmackDown. WWE posted this preview for the show, which will also feature SmackDown Tag Team Champion Heath Slater signing his blue brand contract.
